His neural suppression cold germ was carrying a trace of a spell which was his attempt to write a magical virus. It might have worked except for his infection of Akane Tendo who lived in Nerima. Akane have something actually bad happen to her? Nerima chaos factor? Wildly improbable coincidence, except in Nerima where it's more common?
Instead of leaving Akane with an intelligence downgraded by fifty points, it missed that section entirely and she awoke on the third day with a powerful psychic ability. Eventually she might even learn to control it. Only one such Talent would manifest in most individuals, and such was the case with Akane who would now have the psychic talent of:
