Besides, Motoko needed someone special in her life, as far as the elder Aoyama sister was concerned. No girl could live without some sort of love, and Tsuruko was a firm beliver in the love between a man and a woman. Her headstrong sister needed someone with whom she didn't need to be tough with, but could relax and actually soft and feminine. Of course, that would take a lot of work, and she didn't think it would happen overnight, but with the proper boy, it could work.
And she had an example of a prime candidate right in front of her. Ranma Mizuno was a martial artist, so he could handle the whole fighting part of Motoko, but he was also intelligent, dedicated, and willing to go the extra mile. He likely could handle a fiancee who was so afraid of connecting with a man that she'd strike out at any percieved slight. But this boy would likely not be trying anything, and would actually make her sister work to find something wrong. After all, he'd been polite, understanding, and apparently lacking any overload of hormones.
Though the way that Motoko had looked at him did give a bit of hope as well. Usually she'd just brush off the sight of any male, or if offended, attack. This time, she'd done neither, and had simply settled for glaring at their visitor. Whether that meant that Motoko was merely annoyed at the moment, or angry over feeling attracted to the boy was something that only the girl herself could answer, not that it'd be easy to do so. But if she could hold back enough to have a reasonable relationship, or actually let her feminine desires out, it might just work.
And it'd give him an inroad to learning the family style, since a husband would definately be family.
She kept none of what she was planning from getting to her face as she looked at Ranma and decided to:
