Third Impact was avoided when Rei Ayanami, Mistato, Asuka, Ritsuko, Hikaru and Maya all vanished at the castle where an Angel reading had been detected.
More time passed.
The nobility of spirit clause went into effect.
And still time went on.
Until one day, a new group of female challengers arrived at the enchanted castle on the long lost planet Earth...
