"Somehow, Gourry is going to have to use the Sword of Light. I know he has it, but he doesn't know that I know," Lina thought. "Besides with Galvayra, I have no need of getting the Gorun Nova from him. I have the best of the five."
Absently, Lina grasped the bow and sighed heavily. Not thinking that anyone was watching her.
Gourry gave an annoyed snort. "Lina enough. What is with that bow? How can anyone use a metal bow? I'm not going to drop it this time; I'm concerned."
Lina blinked and felt her face flush, as she thought, "Oops. I didn't want that brought up just yet. I'll have to pull a Xellos."
Amelia and Prince Phil looked on in curiosity and concern.
Lina took a deep breath and said, "This bow is part of a group of five weapons. The creator of the five weapons has recently gone nuts and is trying to end the world. I don't know if I can beat him. He is powerful. If I could get the other weapons gathered, I might stand a chance."
Gourry stared at Lina. "How can a bow with no string and made out of metal be a weapon? Where are the other weapons?"
Lina looked at Gourry with pleading eyes. "Please, Gourry just let it go."
Amelia said, "If this villain is trying to end the world, he will not stand against my righteous justice."
Lina put her face in her hands and shook her head, as she thought. "I forgot how annoying Amelia was at this stage in her life."
Prince Phil asked, "If that is a weapon, how do you work it?"
Lina mentally groaned, "Thank you oh so much Gourry Gabriev."
"Prince Phil, I... Uh. Fine. Fine. You want to see how it works," Lina said in exasperation, as she pulled the bow out and held it aloft. "Light come forth!"
Everyone's mouths dropped as they all the glowing string and arrow of Lina's bow. Lina let the energy fade, without firing, and glared at Gourry.
"Happy now?"
Gourry pushed a stud on his sword blade and brought forth only the hilt.
Gourry said, "Light come forth!"
Gourry now held the Sword of Light and looked at Lina. "I thought that the Sword of Light was all there was."
Lina gritted her teeth. "There are five weapons. Gorun Nova the Sword. Ragud Mezigis the Lance. Nezzard the Claw. Bodigar the Axe and Galvayra the Bow. The Sword of Light's proper name is Gorun Nova."
Amelia asked in shock, "Wait a second. You said that the creator of the weapons has recently went nuts, correct?"
Lina's shoulders slumped, as she replied, "That is correct, Amelia."
Amelia asked, "How? Humans don't live that long."
"Who said he was human?" Lina answered, with a smirk.
Lina took a deep breath. "I'll explain everything when we get to Seyruun and in a place that is a bit more secure than the outdoors."
Lina thought, "The time travel, probably not. Too complicated."
Unknown to Lina, her little display had been monitored by Zolf.
Zolf whispered, "Another weapon of light? Five of them? I am beginning to wonder if she has more knowledge than Rezo. Seyruun? Why Seyruun? Prince Phil?"
Zolf took a long look at the mountain-sized bandit. "That's Crown Prince Philionel?"
Zolf took out a sphere and contacted Zelgadis.
"Master Zelgadis, I have news about Lina."
Through the globe, Zelgadis answered, " Have you found out where they are going?"
Zolf said, "Seyruun. Lina is accompanying Crown Prince Philionel."
Zelgadis replied, "Not good. Anything else?"
"The Sword of Light and a new weapon of light have been shown to be carried by Lina and that mercenary swordsman."
"I see. Things are getting interesting."
