Which brings us to The Nameless's plight - Nerima was the epitome of Yin. Since he had left the area twenty years ago, it had fallen into rapid decay - Nerima was now a depressing, crime-filled ghetto. Gangs decided the fates of the masses, and the gangs were all controlled by of small group of slumlords that were constantly warring with one another. Yang had not touched this place in many years. Yin, however, was doing quite well for itself. It's ironic, he thought to himself - Yin's most powerful ally was weakened by the lack of Yang. But he quickly forced such thoughts from his head, as he knew that it was foolish for a mortal to declare fealty to one side or the other; after all, both had been around since before man, and both would be around long after man's demise. But none of this helped him now, as the seal was wreaking havoc on his body. Well, he would have to deal with it if he wanted his revenge...yes, the pain wasn't quite as bad if he remembered why he was dealing with it.
It was at this moment in time that he happened to notice that one of the people who was avoiding his lamp post was a familiar face - why, isn't that little Kasumi? A bit older, her face quite weathered, but...yes, it was her. How very convenient! He let out a faint grunt as he jumped from his lofty perch, landing a few feet in front of a rather startled Kasumi. His face still covered, he asked her: "Say, would you happen to have the time of day for an old friend?" Puzzled, she asked if she knew him. "No, you don't know me. Not who I am now, anyway. But you know the man that I used to be..." He raised his head a bit, revealing a wicked smile. "What? What the hell are you..." And then it hit her. Puzzlement became disbelief, disbelief became anger, anger became fear, and fear became terror as she realized, by the look on his face, why he was here. "R-r-r-ranma-kun...you h-h-have returned to Nerima..." "Yes. I've finally decided to tie up some loose ends, take care of some unfinished business and all that. Could you tell me, by any chance, where the rest of the old "gang" is?" "W-w-ell, Akane and Nabiki...are still here..." "Excellent! And what of Shampoo, and the other amazons?" "I don't know...Cologne went back to the village, and I think the others went off to search for you...almost everyone else is still here, though. Although no one has seen your father in what... fifteen, twenty years?" "Hmm...too bad..." "But what the hell are you doing back here, you Bastard?! And for that matter, why did you leave?! Do you have any idea what kind of hell you put us through when you left? When you left, my father gave up on living. He lost his only reason to live, and all because of you! He's damn near lost his mind, and is no longer the great man that he once was. He won't even talk to me anymore...It's like he doesn't even see us anymore. In fact -" "Shut up! Do you realize that nobody actually cared about me OR my feelings?! That Shampoo and Akane, the two that I was thought I was falling in love with, were actually fucking each OTHER?! That all of you were just using me for your own sick, perverse little wants and desires?! Or that the only one who halfway gave a shit about me was Ryouga, who fucking hated me?!" As his anger grew, and his pent up rage was pushing it's way to the surface, the pain that had once wracked his physical and spiritual selves was beginning to subside. The pain was almost gone now - this was just the opportunity he needed.
Before Kasumi could finish saying "Holy...," The Nameless had assumed the Iyashii Yamainu stance. The "Vile Wolf" was a powerful stance that tapped into Yin to create a vile, blackish aura around the user that inspired fear in all who saw it. Before she could finish saying "Shit," she was dead. A single vile Ki strike to the heart was all that it took to shatter her already worn-out body and soul, and he had focused so much Yin into the strike that few mortals could have withstood the attack anyway. She didn't even make a sound as she fell to the ground - she just passed quietly into death. Not quite as satisfying as he had hoped, but...it still felt pretty damn good. As the bystanders gasped and screamed, The Nameless drew back his sleeve, revealing a horribly scarred arm. Pulling a knife seemingly out of nowhere, he made a deep cut that would leave a permanent scar alongside the others. Another day, another kill
Now, he was faced with choice...
