The Nameless. As he could no longer call himself Ranma Saotome, and had never bothered choosing a new name for himself, the moniker fit. Still a disciplined martial artist at heart, he had now learned of the sheer, untamable power Hakanai-Jetsu, an ancient and (of course) forbidden style of combat. Utilizing a direct connection to both Yin AND Yang, Hakani-Jetsu was difficult to learn; especially since there were only 3 masters that were still alive when The Nameless had left behind his old life, and none of them were initially willing to accept the wild, angry young man as a student. However, he eventually won the favor of all three great masters and was able to learn everything that they could teach him, and then some. His technique, it was believed, was now unbeatable. "There is now no mortal warrior that can survive His wrath, no beast that could humble Him, no demon that could stop Him, no life that could withstand the might of Yin and Yang themselves," one of the masters had said. And it had indeed seemed to be true, as no one had ever survived a fight with The Nameless; this was in spite of the fact that he frequently fought(and killed) over 20 skilled warriors at once.
No longer hindered by weakness, morals, or the false promises of "Love," he had become one of the most dangerous men in the world. For several years, he simply wandered the land defeating entire schools just so he could further refine his style and create new stances. However, something was still preventing him from reaching complete omnipotence...a nagging feeling in the back of his head. It was merely shadows from his previous life, something that he should have been able to conquer with ease. But the thoughts kept forcing themselves back into his head, kept distracting him at inopportune times, continuing to slow him down. So he decided that it was now necessary to deal with these...annoyances once and for all. Which was why he had returned to Nerima - he figured that if he simply killed them all, burned the town and its' inhabitants, and removed all traces of his previous life, he would finally be able to advance and reach the next level of power.
However, such things hardly ever work as we intend, and this was no exception. Before he could begin to exact his sweet, blissful revenge upon the weaklings that had wronged him, he had to overcome an obstacle...
