"WHERE IS THE THIEF MORTAL!" the creature's voice roared over him like the endless waves of the sea, pushing Ranma down.
"THE FOOL MUST HAVE LEFT THIS LITTLE ONE TO FACE OUR WRATH AS AN OFFERING," one of the guards suggested, lifting Ranma and investigating him with a sense of amusement.
"WHAT DOES HE THINK WE ARE RENEGADE ONI!" the first demanded. "WE ARE THE ROYAL GUARDS OF THE FIFTH YOMI KING OF HELL! HE DOES SEEM A LITTLE TASTY!"
"OH QUIT THINKING WITH YOUR STOMACH!" the second said, though he remained amusemed seeming. "THE THIEF IS OFF BY NOW, THOUGH WE'LL HAVE HIM EVENTUALLY. NO ONE OUT RUNS THE JUDGES OF HELL."
"RIGHT," the first said. "SO LET'S JUST TAKE THIS LITTLE OFFERING AND THEN DISMEMBER HIM FOR THE INSULT WHEN HIS DEAD SOUL COMES BY A FEW YEARS FROM NOW!"
"OH HE'S TOO LITTLE." the second said.
"HMM, YOU'RE RIGHT THERE." the first said, shrugging. Then he tossed aside the petrified Ranma. "BEST TO COME BACK TO IT WHEN HE'S OLDER AND GOT SOME MEAT ON HIM THEN."

Ranma-chan was thinking this when a hand laid upon her shoulder.
"AHHH!!! DON'T EAT ME!!!"
