Had she targetted Ranma and known of the Jusenkyo curse, it might have lifted that. As it is, it didn't cure him of anything really major - merely eliminated a few problems and "bent" a few others.
So Ranma was still the martial artist he had been. It was just that his focus had shifted a bit. Gotten wider. Cleared his karma.
"You probably know the stars, don'cha, Ryoga? I mean you're usually camping out an' stuff too. So ya know which ones are which?"
"Bwee?" (Like how would I know, much less tell you?)
"I wonder if that's... HEY!" Ranma sat upright. "How did Jusenkyo form anyway?"
"Bwee?" (Have you been eating some funny ramen or something?)
"Why didn't I see it before?" Ranma-chan stood up. "It's like the martial arts!"
"Buqii." (This makes no sense at all.)
"Ryoga, what happens when you learn a new special manuever?" Ranma began pacing, the idea clicking into place in her head as she worked it out.
"Bwee, buqii, bwee bwee. Bwo?" (I learn a new manuever, you learn a defense or countermove, we end up at square one again. Your point being?)
"Exactly," said Ranma, not understanding a word of it but having a vague idea of what Ryoga's reply would be. "Once you're hit with a new martial art or manuever, you figure out a defense or way to counter it!"
"BWEEE?!" (Wait a minute, you understood me?!)
"It's the same thing," exclaimed Ranma, getting more excited. "We've been looking for a cure like this was some case of the sniffles or something. What we should have been looking for is a countermove!"
"Bwooe? Buqii. Qii." (What's the difference? That's it - I'm getting some hot water. This makes no sense at all.)
"Now this is obviously a complicated thing," said Ranma, her pigtail whipping around as she paced. "I mean the whole turn into one thing and not another thing, water temperature. Why? What makes Jusenkyo like that? It's cursed so who put the whammy on in the first place? If it was a martial arts manuever then someone had ta come up with it."
P-chan wandered into the back of the Tendo home, looking for hot water and wondering what the heck was going on. Ranma-chan stopped in mid-step. Which ended up with her landing on her fanny in the backyard but it wasn't certain she noticed. "Wait a minute. Everything can be martial arts training. Life is martial arts training. Therefore, that means... martial arts is life? Life is martial arts? I've been getting beaten up by everything else and its been martial arts all along?"
