The pigtailed boy shrugged at the problem and knew that there was nothing that he could do. After all, it wasn't like he had plenty of cure mushrooms just laying around. Instead, he had to make do with what he had, and that wasn't much. It didn't change the fact that it'd take at least a decade for the 'nominal' fiancees to return to their former ages, not that he was sure that they would be the same. Experience did a lot to change people.
But it was still nice in a lot of ways. The girls were acually seeming to get along together, as they found it really hard to try and force him into some act when the most that they could do would be to grab onto his leg and hold on for dear life. And they were actually smiling as they managed to play together when their 'older' selves would have freaked out by then. They played games, hung around together, and even talked with a growing friendship.
If nothing else, he was happy for the peace that had come after so much strife, and having them actually get along was nice. Plus... he didn't have the heart to put them back under the stresses that being back to normal would have done to them, even if he could.
However, that left him at loose ends. He'd been busy so much with being inside the chaos of his life that quiet was rather nice. But he needed to do something to do. School was boring, and there was a bunch of stuff that he didn't have to handle anymore. Since his problems had just youthened, he was free of engagements, as the closest moment when the closest one of the girls could marry him, a U.S. President would have gone through a term of office.
So he merely stood back and watched while:
