"Digger residence," she said.
She blinked, looking up, one of Ranma's cats was staring at her. They were perfectly normal cats, but still, they seemed to get everywhere and anywhere they wanted no matter what Gina did to try to keep them out.
Britanny and Brianna had advised Gina to stop trying, but she hadn't yet listened to them. You'd think considering those two sisters that Gina would know better than to try and deny a cat access to anything. All it did was make them want to get in there, but she was Gina Diggers, and she was certain there was a way to keep them out of her labs.
"Yes...is Brianna Diggers there?" the voice on the other end of the phone asked nervously.
"Yes," Gina said. "My I ask who's calling?"
"Atlanta PS-105," the person said. "It is about Ranma. We know that your parents are the guardians on record, but Brianna was here calling the child her daughter earlier...so"
"Ah..." Gina said. "Let me get her." She looked at the cat.
"One other thing..."
"Shew you!" And waved at it, the cat batted at her hand playfully.
"What?" the school worker asked, almost in panic.
"Not you," Gina said. "One of Ranma's cats, why are you so nervous anyway?"
"Well, can you promise that Brianna won't blow up the school?" the person asked. Gina froze and looked at the speaker. THAT was not a good thing to hear.
"What happened?"

"You let a bunch of thugs KIDNAP my daughter on her FIRST day of school?!!" Brianna yelled into the speaker. "OOooo, just you wait until I get there...I'm gonna...."
The person on the other end was chanting an apology as the residents of the Diggers household were trying to calm down Brianna. Then the video comm flared to life.
"Gina!" Penny shouted. "This had better not be another fake kidnapping prank by you and my cousin. Because if it is..." Penny took in the situation. "Something wrong?"
"So Monique's been kidnapped too?" Gina asked.
"What do you mean..." Penny looked to the distraught and now nervously pulling her hair out Brianna. "...Somebody did something REALLY stupid...didn't they?"
"Now we just need to know who," Gina said, tapping her fingers.

"Well, what can I do with Penny's cousin and Brianna's daughter," Pee Wee asked. "Are they secure?"
"We put them in one of them unused lab rooms," the thug said. This was such an easy task he hadn't asked his prime enforcers to do it, all the better to keep the Diggers and Miss Pincer in the dark about his involvement anyway.
"Hmmm," he considered the idea of this Ranma he'd seen some surveillance on in one of his lab rooms. "I don't suppose a seven year old girl could do much in there."

"What are you doing?" Monique asked the little girl she trapped with.
"My mom showed me this great show," Ranma said. "It was called MacGuyver..."
"Oh," Monique said. "Need help?"
"Oh, thank you lady!" Ranma said cheerfully. "Can you hand me that socket wrench?" Ranma went to work while humming the theme to inspector gadget.
"What? I didn't #$@#ing say anything this time!"
"No," Ranma said. "I can't make one of those with this stuff...it's a particle cannon."
