On the one hand, it was aggravating that everybody else around her had gotten more of an ability boost than she had. On the other hand, she still had a body that she was, after more than a year wearing it from time to time, quite familiar with.
It meant her edge wasn't blunted in a fight, as she wasn't hampered with trying to figure out a new body, as Ukyou and Kodachi had been and still were to an extent.
At the moment, however, she was more concerned with getting people away from whatever that guy had seen in the water. There was a confused mass of people wandering somewhat haphazardly to the tree line, and the shadowed buildings there, but most were still trying to figure everything out.
The first screams caught Ranma's ear almost immediately and she ran toward them, leaping over a crowd that was trying to push away from the shoreline.
She wasn't the only one to respond by heading toward the trouble. Her fiancees and many of the more combat oriented Kumojin had made their way to the sound as well, and they saw what was coming out of the waters towards them.
