"Did anyone hear that?" Romeo asked nervously.

"Ih..iht was j..j...just the w...wind...Rom," Lydia said. "S...s..top b..being s..such..a w...w...imp all the tt...time."

"I guess so," Romeo said.

None of them made out the word "leave" drifting on the "wind" blowing through the halls of the ancient city.

• So, how much trouble will the rats get into with the serpent that guards the ice city.
• The rats are caught by the serpent's wisps and are teleported outside with the gold...in the middle of the Arctic Circle...with nobody around.
• The rats are teleported without the gold.
• The rats are teleported with the gold...where are they now?
• "I...uh...think that giant snake is some kind of prison guard," Romeo said.

  "Why do you say that?" Lydia asked.

  Romeo swallowed as he looked up at...
