Lab Days - Catgirls: Kitty Power! [Episode 136708]

by Kender

Doctor Moreau was not what one would call a normal person, and that had nothing to do with his parentage. Instead, it had a lot to do with the fact that he was a few beakers short of a set. But in response to a youth where he'd been isolated for who his father had been, he'd grown to find solace in places where the imagination was let soar. He was known as an intelligent man, yet those who dismissed him had done so not only to a highly talent geneticist, but a dedicated fan as well.

Considering the fact that he'd had trouble getting girls to come to his home in the first place, his large collection of manga and related items from childhood wasn't noticed. It wasn't that he was still as enamoured of those books as he was as a kid, but there was a definite effect coming from those long hours stuck at home.

And in this case, it had manifested in his revenge. He knew that he would be turning the girls of the world partially feline, but he wasn't going to make them simply pointy eared humans with tails. After all, what sort of catgirl would be left at that? Besides, there was something to be said about having a bunch of attractive and busty catgirls causing havoc without even trying.

So, each catgirl was no longer the simple human that she had been. They'd have heightened senses, to which they would be able to smell better than they ever could before. Nightvision was improved, and so was sense of balance. The latter was of great benefit, because even with the increase in bust sizes, they were more flexible, agile, and quick. Reaction times were reduced, and strength went up, though the second part was more of gymnast's level than a boxer's.

All in all, it was a benefit that most women noted rather quickly. Women who'd had to rush to catch trains before could now arrive with plenty of time to spare. That also caused plenty of problems though, as none of them knew their own strength. A girl who might want to playfully bap at a boy could wind up making him stumble if she got too excited. It wasn't a major shift off of the human norm, but each of the changed girls wound up discovering that the initial euphoria of being able to jump and twirl could easily be extinguished when one would bounce to far... and crash into something.

That satisfied Doctor Moreau's plans fine, as the chaos created by so many women and girls becoming catgirls was being followed by a whole bunch of accidents as females everywhere had to relearn their limits. Panic was prevalent, and all sorts of concerns were raised, with no one being able to figure out what was going on. But slowly, it became clear that none of the affected individuals were going to die, or become slavering monsters, so things settled down as new plans were drawn up to deal with the situation.

The mad Doctor didn't care about the fact that things were settling down. He'd not only managed to sow anarchy for a while, but had sullied those 'pure' lines that had gotten him teased and shunned as a child. Never again would a child be born as a 'pure person', as these catgirls were now half the race. And once they figured out the fact that he'd put in the chance for other 'special' abilities, they'd freak again. Sure, it'd only work on a small portion of the populace, but once it did, it would likely prove to be amusing, to say the least.

Anyway, he was an insane, or close to it, guy, and simply was able to twist things how he liked.

So, he simply sat back and watched the news reports while:
