This time was new, however, as there wasn't some insane martial artist, or weird jerk popping up. They'd even knocked on the front door, and asked to see him, which for strange people with strange motivations, it was a novelty. That wasn't to say it didn't happen, but usually it was followed up by some situation where he'd get hit at least once.
What he had at the moment was three women dressed rather nicely and sitting politely before him and the other residents of the Tendo home.
They still spouted really out there things though.
"Ya care ta explain that again," Ranma said with a flat look at their guests.
"My name is Quistis," the blonde woman replied, "and my companions are Rinoa, and Selphie. We have come from the Isle Of Gonyoh in search of the heir to our throne, who would happen to be you, Ranma Saotome."
"Me? Ya gotta be jokin'."
"We aren't. You are the next in line to rule our island."
"Hold on a second," Nabiki interjected, "The jock here is a prince?"
"Pretty much. We have been letting him be for most of his life, but we do believe that he will be okay there. And recent developments have made it possible to bring him back."
"What she means is that we would like it if Ranma would agree to come back to the Island with us. Our people want him to come, and he'd be treated as well as we can," Rinoa spoke up.
"Then why don't you just take the jerk," Akane ground out.
"Because we want him to come on his own, and because making him go might not make him happy with us. He is the heir to the throne after all."
"Hah! This is probably just a trick to get him to marry someone! Well..."
Selphie frowned. "Some of the girls back home might like the chance to marry him, but what sort of creep makes a girl marry any guy?"
Eyes turned to a certain pair of fathers, and the two men blinked innocently.
"Let's get ta it. Ya say that ya don't wanna make me marry anyone. So ya don't have some girl ya wanna bring up ta me when I get there, if I went?" the pigtailed boy asked.
"Of course not. Just any girl, or woman for that matter, would not do," Quistis responded, "Though you can bring a girl of your choice with you if you want to consider romance with her, or a group of them if you'd like. Or you could just bring some friends. They would be well treated, and placed in one of the Palace's many wonderful bedrooms."
"Ya guys wouldn't mind?"
"Not really. We do have more than enough funds for whatever you'd like, so long as you don't go insane or something."
