Ranma nodded, the whole ritual of setting up camp in yet another area starting anew.
Ranma gathered fallen branches and placed them in the ring of stones that another camper had left behind when they had used the site.
"Mars - Fire Soul!"
Starting the fires was a bit different and neater.
"I know you need to gain experience in summoning me," said the girl in red, "it's just that my powers were meant for defeating evil beings and this seems a little beneath me."
"Well, if you know some evil beings around here, I'd be happy to let ya fry 'em," said Ranma.
"Oh well, at least I'm out of that shrine," reasoned Mars. "Okay, next lesson. Each of us that you can summon have access to two Dominions. With myself, you have access to Fire and Spirit. My first stage attack is 'Fire Soul', the second stage is a Spirit attack - 'Akuryo Taisan'."
"There one that combines Spirit and Fire?" asked Ranma, seeing where this was going.
"Yes, but it will take you some time to be able to call on that," said Mars. "You are my summoner - my link to this world. It draws on your strength to hold me here and power my attacks."
"Got ya," said Ranma. Special manuevers that increased in power with practice? Heck yeah!
"Until tomorrow then," said Mars, fading out.
