To be fair, Rei was obviously not about to be able to even know that she was exposed as she was, since she was asleep. But then she was never one who had put such things as societal acceptance up high on her list of importance, and she wasn't one to show much emotion anyway. So, it wouldn't have been such a major concern for the fact that what she was wearing was pushed up so that her breasts, which had to be a bit larger than they had been, were very clearly outlined. However, she hadn't done that herself.
The pair of nearly irridescent wings growing out of her back were doing that quiet well. Both of them were apparently rather full already, but it was clear that they were only going to get bigger.
But with those new appendages, the way that everything about the pale girl seemed to glow with new life, and the images that came to mind, Misato was reasonably certain of the fact that the First Child was now an angel in more of a traditional form. Of course, she didn't think that the girl would be flying off to heaven anytime soon, but it was the only possibility that fit. And to be honest, after waking up as a technological wonder and seeing a magical catgirl, seeing Rei as an angel was not as surprising as it could have been. Though she did have to wonder about why the changes were taking this sort of course, even if she knew that there would be little in the way of answers.
It was not like any answers were about to come from outside the cell either.
"So, it's confirmed?" Fuyutsuki asked as he leaned over the younger officer's shoulder.
Hyoga nodded, wondering what that choking sound the Commander was making was about. "Yes, sir. As far as we can tell, the First Child has some sort of... angelic change. The wings seem to be growing in conjunction with some odd harmonics that we can't exactly dechiper. Still, there is nothing dangerous that we can see as of yet."
"Yes, but that doesn't mean that we should dismiss that avenue of thought yet," the second-in-command replied.
"Understood, sir, but... Is something wrong with the Commander? He seems to be losing it..."
"Think about what you are saying, and consider what he would say when you put forth the idea that he has something 'wrong' with him."
"I don't... see a reason to bother him then," Hyoga said with a wince.
"A good idea."
Realising that someone would at least would be watching them, and not wanting to give some security type a fetish, Misato went over and tried her best to adjust the outfit that the girl had been dressed in to accomodate her wings. That merely putting two holes in the back of the top to let the appendages go free. Oddly enough, she was surprised to see that it actually worked not too badly, as she used her enhanced abilities to pinpoint how to adjust the outfit to her specified needs.
With that done, the officer stood back and wished that she needed to heave a sigh. As it was, she could do it on purpose, but that wasn't exactly the same as feeling the actual biological actions. Not that she not feel something, but her senses were balanced a whole lot better now, and she had a feeling that she could handle a whole lot more stress now.
That this just might affect her alcohol consumption was not a pleasant thought, though the ability to drink more was appealing.
Still, such a test would have to wait until they were out of this cell, and she didn't know just when that would happen. As it stood, she was stuck there, dealing with the alterations going on with a limited amount of information. Despite her normally carefree act, she was a skilled strategist, and being stuck with being 'informatively' blind as she was at that moment was frustrating.
But a good strategist made the best of what she had to work with, and she planned on doing that while:
