"There are perceptible differences in posture and motion patterns," Rei responded simply as she glanced back at where Shinji was uncertainly talking to two of the other girls in class while Kensuke looked at him with an expression that kept fluctuating between unbelief and jealousy. "If there are other changed behavior patterns, it is important that they be cataloged in case they threaten his piloting effectiveness."

The she shut her eyes and shook her head. "What is it Third Child?" She asked, hoping that the trembling in her voice sounded like anger and not desire.

Asuka looked at the package and extended a hand to grab it by the knot at the top. With a quiet "Thanks," she turned and walked out of the room. As she entered the hallway her stomach gave a growl, and she put a hand on it with a scowl. 'I should have had Shinji's Banana this morning.'
