"Captain's Log. October 19, CE 71. It's been about two and a half weeks since we've docked at the September City PLANT spaceport and it appears that we may be sitting here for quite a while longer. The repairs for the Archangel, the Eternal and the Kusanagi are proceeding smoothly. Repairs for the Strike Rouge, the Duel, the Buster and the Freedom have been recently completed. I've authorized transfer of the Sword and Launcher Striker packs to the Eternal since they would make better use of them should an emergency arise. The crew morale has been somewhat high for a while with the temporary ceasefire but has deteriorated a bit due to our lockdown. To solve this, I'm attempting to organize some recreational activity that would hopefully pass the time more quickly. End log."
Murrue Ramius stopped the recording and picked up a report that had been submitted to earlier by Erica Simmons the day before. The Justice Gundam reconstruction project, started a few days after the three ships docked with the PLANT, had its estimated construction completion date reduced thanks to the discovery of several backup parts and a mobile suit skeleton that had been built by the original construction team of the Justice. With this along with the blueprint data provided by Athrun, the Justice should be up and running by around mid-November. The only major problem is getting their hands on the materials needed for the Justice's Neutron Jammer Canceller. Andy said that he could try and pull a few strings since there are some ZAFT soldiers who owe him a few favours but it's a bit of a long shot.
She placed the report back on her desk before taking a sip of her tea. In her mind, she imagined that Mu La Flaga was with her, spouting off ridiculous and amusing ideas to break the spell of boredom.

"This is absolute bullshit!! Why the hell can't we disembark the ship?!?" shouted Yzak.
"I'm as irritated as you are but this order came from the PLANT Supreme Councilwoman herself. We've got to take it easy," replied Dearka calmly as he placed another card on the table. For the past thirty minutes, he had been playing Freecell. About two hours ago, he had been winning several rounds of Go Fish against Yzak.
The pilot of the Duel crossed his arms. "I'm sick and tired of taking it easy!! I want to get off and do something!!"
"Like what?" Dearka was starting to get tired of this conversation since he had the same talk with Yzak for the past 8 days.
"Visit my mother in prison..." The pilot of the Buster looked at his friend in surprise. Now this was new. "I recently found out that my mother was arrested by Eileen Canaver for being a heavy supporter of Chairman Zala's extreme policies."
"Whoa...I hope nothing happened to my dad. Do you have anything to say to her?"
"I honestly don't know. I may not be fond of Naturals but I'm not exactly comfortable with the idea of obliterating every one of them." Yzak decided to change the subject. "So what have you been doing to pass the time? Other than playing cards with me?"
"Nothing much since the Buster got fixed up." Dearka cleaned up his cards before starting a game of Solitaire.
"Except hanging with that Natural girl. What was her name again? Miriallia?" As soon as her name left Yzak's mouth, she came into the cafeteria where the two Coordinators were hanging out.
"Hi! How did your shift go?" asked Dearka.
"Same old routine." She grabbed a glass of water and downed it before sitting down at their table. "Now let's pick up where we left off yesterday. Can you tell me what exactly happened during your space mock battle in the academy?"
Before Dearka could reply, Yzak took the opportunity to tease his friend. "Because his opponent was a cute girl, Dearka went down in five minutes!!"
"Hey!! I felt a little under the weather on that battle, Yzak! That's all!!"
Yzak just grinned. "Sure you were...Mega Playboy."
"Excuse me?" Miriallia glared at Dearka who started sweating like a pig.
"For our yearbook, Dearka was voted as the Mega Playboy of the Academy considering that he dated and got dumped by about 34 female cadets, give or take two or three."
The silver haired Coordinator decided now was the time to sit back and enjoy the show. "Um, Mir...lemme just clarify a few things..."

Instructor Miller begun his little speech. "You two know how the fighting would work for your space mock battle. In addition, you will have two supervisors to make sure that you don't go too far from the spaceport. Is that understood?"
"Yes, sir!!" replied Luna. Shinn just remained silent.
"Alright. Get moving then!!" In a few moments, the two cadets were launched into space.
