"Well, the elves have tentatively agreed to begin supplying us with food in exchange for our silk and two groups of our best weavers. One to set up a trading and manufacturing post in the village of Auberdine and one group to go on to their capital."
"And you got them to not bring back the c.cc..ccat?" Ranma stuttered while trying to appear nonchalant.
"I don't think that is one of our main concern," Nabiki said with a hint of exasperation and humor in her voice. "It's going to take a while for trade to be established, according to them Auberdine is not a big enough city to trade the amount of food that we're going to require. So we are going to have to conserve as much food as we can in the meantime."
"How are the ones that are going to be decided?" Cologne asked having been absent from that part of the trade negotiations.
"We are going to draft some of the best weavers, we need to impress them. Then the rest of the two groups will be made up of volunteers and some of the better understudies. One thing though, we are going to need some of the warriors to escort the two groups to Auberdine and then a from their at least one of us will need to continue on to their capital and work on establishing an embassy of sorts there." Nabiki said while her eyes swept over the assembled leadership.
"Unfortunately, we are somewhat limited about which of us can go." Kodachi said with a meaningful glance towards the room containing the households eggs.
