Closely following her, a being oozing with Evil stepped out, and raised an eyebrow in surprise.
"Still standing Ranko? I would have expected you to have given up already after that beating I gave you. You know you can't defeat me," Ranma said while casually batting away the attempts to maim and dismember him. Easily disarming his attacker, he then pinned Ranko onto a nearby tree.
Ranko spat in the face of her tormentor.
"I'll never give up! I will die before I let you corrupt another world!" she ranted.
Ranma laughed. "And what can you do? You're cut off from all sources of powers except ones of dark origins, and as soon as you use that you'll be cast out of Heaven. Face it, you've lost."
"I've not lost yet, demon!" And with that, Ranko threw herself at Ranma, weaving complex magicks around them both.
Ranma, caught unprepared for the assault, fell ensnared in the web of the spell. However, he was far from finished, quickly weaving his own counterspell.
"Ha! With this spell, all of your abilities will be nullified! You will be rendered helpless, easy pickings for the next demon hunter," Ranko crowed in victory as her spell neared completion. "It might cost me my life, but it is well worth it if it would destroy you!"
"Far from it," Ranma responded smirking, his counterspell already in effect. "Do you really think with your meager remaining powers you could stop me? You merely shifted the battle from a physical one to a spiritual and mental one when you bound yourself to me. That is one battle that I WILL win!"
A brief flash of light occured as the two spells met and battled against each other. When it died down, the body of Ranma Saotome could be seen in a crater created by the conflicting spells that was recently cast. A slight drizzle began, and changed him into the form of Ranko.
