Not just that he had dog ears, thicker hair, fangs, not to mention a TAIL. More had changed, including his hair color and his newly golden-amber eyes.
Like one of the Musk Warriors, he was faster now and could run indefinitely without tiring. If he sprinted he'd tire faster, but he quickly discovered a pace he could keep up that would devour the miles. His best estimate was that it was around forty kilometers per hour. He could leap further and faster too. It'd be faster than walking, but he'd still use a train if it came down to getting somewhere distant in a hurry.
He'd run for about four hours before he'd come to the mountains, though it wouldn't have taken nearly that long if he had made it a straight line. As he hadn't known where he was going, he hadn't come anywhere close to a straight line.
Now that he was away from the city he actually felt better. The stink of the city had been oppressive and he didn't have a lot of experience separating out odors. He'd get better with experience, but right now he needed peace and quiet. Such things weren't easily found in Nerima.
From what he'd seen prior to his departure, the situation in Nerima was a bomb waiting to go off. He saw no reason to be at ground zero when it happened.
Ryoga had shed his P-chan curse. Akane would have to come to terms with the loss of her pet. Since Ryoga was now an Ogre nearly a head taller than many of those other Ogres around - cute and little weren't quite applicable.
Kuno's scent had practically had Ranma growling. Similar to himself most likely. He might even end up a credible threat somehow.
Ranma sniffed the breeze. Someone was hurt? He considered turning his back on this briefly, then clenched his fists. No, his new instincts called for unloading some stress.
