She had heard of such things on the radio before she'd gotten too sick, and might have put it down to mere imagination had she not been going through the same thing. Of course, she did not need to be told that the strong tail that would make it necessary to cut holes in certain piece of clothing was feline. Nor did she need assistance in determining that the new placement and shape of her ears were those of a cat. The change in her chest was rather disturbing, as it would make it nearly impossible to bind them with their new size, and simple touches made her go weak in the knees, as the grab she'd done when she'd woken up had proven, even if it had taken several moments for her to get a coherent thought to realize that. However, those and other parts of the more feminine appearance that had greeted her in the mirror had been similar to what she had heard of from the media reports.
What she was finding rather odd though was the fact that both her ears and her tail had orange and black stripes as their predominant colors, but managed to look predatory, so that was not so bad. It was still a bit... overwhelming at the moment, but she was a warrior, and she could handle it. That didn't mean that she was not severely annoyed at whatever being she was dealing with, but that would have to wait until he was found.
She didn't know how to handle the urge to seek out Urashima. Her nose could now detect his scent in her room, but it only settled near where she'd been resting. Not even her clothing had taken much of his smell, even though he'd been able to do anything while she was sleeping. Instead, it seemed that he'd merely stayed to one spot and had stayed there. Just how she knew it was him, and how she was aware of how long he'd been there, she didn't want to know.
A little stiff because of her enforced time in bed, Motoko stepped lightly from her room and into the hallway. The scents of the other girls and Urashima were wafting past, and she knew that she could sense such things due to her change, but that still surprised her. But at least it was better than the urge to hunt down the manager's trail, and do... something she wasn't sure about. A part of her said that it was to confront him, but she wasn't exactly sure how that would be. Certain new feelings were going through her, and so she wasn't quite certain how she should take them.
So she merely put them aside for the moment, and decided to see what else had happened. As a warrior, she was the one to face things head on. If the forces that had changed her were not isolated, it had probably done so to the others. They had to have changed, and she was not one to leave problems unattended.
Besides, after being sick and bedridden for a few days, she needed a bath to clean off and relax.
Heading off from her room a little unsteadily, she went to see what she could do, while:
