After packing and checking out of the hotel, the crew’s returned to the Junius 9 space port where the Archangel, Kusanagi and Eternal were docked. The port was bustling with activity as everyone was preparing for departure, especially since all three vessels were going in separate directions.
“Okay, we’ve just transferred the Strike Rouge and its Striker Packs back over to the Kusanagi.” Andy said as he read off a checklist. “The Eternal will return to the Armory 01 to pick up the Justice and begin fine-tuning tests. The Archangel will head to Martius Five Shipyards for upgrades. And last but not least the Kusanagi will help provide escort for Secretary General Olbani along with another ZAFT vessel.” The commander of the Eternal looked up. “Alright everyone, things are going to get real busy from here on in. So no slouching off, we have a lot of work ahead of us.”
Murrue steps forward from beside Andy. “Listen up now everyone; its time to return to your designated ship as we’ll be departing in the next thirty minutes! If there’s anyone from another ship you wish to say goodbye too, we suggest you do so now and then broad your vessel.”
Sighing softly Cagalli turned to Athrun. “Well it was fun being on the same ship while it lasted.” She leaned over to hug him tightly. “And things were just getting good too.”
“I know,” he chuckles softly as he returned the hug. “But that’s how things work. Don’t worry though; we’ll be back together soon enough. You just be careful and watch your back out there.”
“The same goes for you.” She murmurs, lifting her head to kiss him softly. “I love you.”
”I love you too Cagalli.” He says as he returns the kiss in kind. After a moment, both of them softly break their embrace. Smiling softly Cagalli turns and heads for the Kusanagi, slowly disappearing into the crowd of crew and technicians boarding the vessel.
“Don’t worry about her, she’s tough, but if it’ll make ya’ feel better I’ll watch her back incase we run into trouble.”
Athrun turned to see Kou standing behind him, a duffel bag slung over his shoulder. “Ah…thanks I appreciate that, although I have to ask... Why?”
Kou just shrugged. “Why not? We’re all friends now and friends back each other up. Besides you two make a cute couple and I’d hate to see either of ya’ sad.” He then gives a crisp half-salute and leaves to go board the Kusanagi.

A phone rings in a darkened room and a hand picks it up. “Yes?”
“They’re leaving the resort now. The Eternal is heading for Armory 01, the Archangel, Matius 5 and the Kusanagi is going to help escort the Secretary General’s shuttle.” Said the female voice on the other end of the phone line.
The person in the room nodded, even though the person on the other end of the line could not see him; “Your assessment of the situation Bruin?”
”I recommend we take them out while they’re separated. I will take a team to handle the Kusanagi. It would be best if the Pegasus went after either the Eternal or Archangel and whatever other ships you can spare handle the other.” Tammy said in a professional, cold tone.
“Very well, we shall make preparations. I’ll send the Crimson Star and its mobile suit company to assist you with the Kusanagi.”
“Thank you sir.”
