When the crew members playing taps finished; Andy coughed to clear his throat and began his sermon. “We’re gathered here today to bid farewell to a long-serving and wonderful machine. She was indeed a fine machine, the finest I’d ever seen in my life.”
Raising an eyebrow Martin DaCosta spoke up. “Sir didn’t you say that about the coffee maker you lost in the desert when the Lesseps was nearly destroyed?”
His eyes widening, Andy falls to his knees before the “coffin” of his destroyed coffee maker which was no more than an airtight container. “Oh God you’re right!! I’m so sorry how could I have forgotten you all?!” Andy throws himself over the containing, sobbing hysterically.
Several of those assembled in the hanger sweat-dropped at Waltfeld’s antics. Leaning over towards Cagalli; Kou asked. “So this is all over a coffee maker?”
Cagalli nodded. “Pretty much, I know its really silly but Waltfeld is an important member of our Alliance so, might as well humor him.”
Kou snorts. “I like coffee as much as the next person, but wasting out time with a stupid funeral for a coffee-maker is just plain fucked up.”
Andy’s ear twitched as he overheard Kou’s blatant trash-talk about the funeral for his beloved coffee-maker. He does a slow-turn towards the young Coordinator his one eye blazing as a fiery aura engulfs him. …Uramecha!!”
Kou eep’d and felt the color drain from his face. “Oh fuck me…”
*Later*
Letting out a long sigh, Kou grumbled as he continued his punishment; polishing the Eternal from bow to stern. All he had to accomplish this task was a spacesuit, a rag and a backpack full of polish. “Oh man this blows big time.”
”Hey you quite your bitching and keep working maggot!”
Kou’s eyes twitched as he cocked his head toward the Duel Gundam which was floating over him. “I just know you love the fact Waltfeld assigned you to keep watch over me while I do this.”
“Damn straight! Now back to work Shrimp!”
Kou grumbled as he returned to polishing. “Man, sometimes I wonder why I joined these guys…”
