A nameless tech answers the com. "...It's the hangar bay, sir... The Freedom is..." There was hesitating as if the tech didn't believe what was going on.
Waldfield raised an eyebrow. "What about the Freedom?" He asked into the speaker.
The Nameless tech answered. "...It's tap-dancing, sir."
Waldfeld and Lacus blink. "Tap-dancing?" they echo.
"Yes it is." The tech replies.
Waltfeld sighs and makes his way to the hangar. They see Freedom tap-dancing, finishing a grand performance. Waldfeld uses the public speakers. "Kira!"
Kira's' voice emerges from the Freedom's external speakers "Commander?"
"Kira, why are you tap-dancing using the Freedom? I mean, there are less flashy ways to get the Pink Princess' attention, you know."
.Lacus blushes behind him.
"Oh, no need to worry,' Kira says cheerfully (maybe *too* cheerfully), it was just a silly bet with Athrun. He thought I was making an empty boast when I said I could tapdance the Freedom all over him."
Lacus' and Waltfeld's eyes widen. "What??" He checks around and sees Athrun looking a bit pale and Cagalli ready to kill on the opposite catwalk.
"Cagalli," is all Kira replies.
"Ah..." suddenly agrees Waldfeld sagely. "All right."
Athrun looks at him, still pale. "All right he just admitted he’s practicing to squish me flat!!?"
Waltfeld shrugs. "You made your bed, now lie in it." Pause. "Wait, you already did," he snickers.
Waltfeld laughs and leaves, while Cagalli starts screaming insults about Kira being a damn baka and that he doesn't have the right to play overprotective "big" brother.
Kira meanwhile simply went back to practicing, the feet motions of the Freedom suspiciously looked like it was meant as a stomping motion on something very small.
All color felt Athrun’s face and he fainted.
