“You’re not the only one who’s glad to be out of there.” Kou says in agreement as they leave the government building. The Coordinator then notices they’re minus a person. “Hey, where’d Kisaka disappear to?”
Cagalli checked her watch. “Judging by the time it’s most likely he went to the defense ministry building to see about the reconstruction of the military and what we do have, what we don’t and what we need. He was told to attend their meeting around this time, and since the meeting ran longer than planned he probably decided to hot-foot it and didn’t have time to tell us.”
I see,” Kou says as he grabs his head and twists his neck, making it pop with a loud crack sound.
Cagalli winced. “Do you have to do that?!” She asked in annoyance.
“Why yes I do.” Kou said with an infuriating grin.
Cagalli just shook her head at the young Coordinator’s antics. “Well, I gotta admit you impressed me back there.”
”Eh?”
”Standing up to Seiran and speaking your mind so clearly with dedicated conviction.” She said in a congratulatory tone as she gave him a hearty pat on the back. “Been ages since I saw those stuck ups get their words shoved back down their throats so bluntly and in a way they couldn’t counter.”
”I can now see why Kisaka is deathly worried about the political strengths of Orb, except for maybe two or three other representatives, most of em’ seemed ready to jump into the Earth Force’s laps.”
“Yes unfortunately, and I don’t like how Seiran was trying to convince me about an arranged marriage with his son at every chance he got.” Cagalli shivered.
“Hey if worse comes to worse I’ll hop into Gold Frame, go to his house and scare his ass into backing off.” Kou grinned in a maniacal fashion that hinted he was serious about doing just that. “But then again what I would do is going to be tame compared to the fury Athrun would unleash.”
“Like a break-dancing Justice?” Cagalli grinned, before she started to laugh.
“Exactly! Kou laughed in agreement.
The two continue to laugh for a little bit before finally calming down. “Oooh I needed that.” Cagalli says as she wiped the moisture from her eyes. “Well its past noon, how about we grab some lunch?”
”Far be it from me to turn down free food!”

Walking out of the locker room, Tammy looked up at the mobile suits gathered in the hanger. The two Dagger L units were being equipped with their Striker packs; she was looking forward to their performance on the battlefield. While some would consider anything the Naturals made to be under par, their GAT series mobile suits proved they could make machines that could either be on par or overwhelm ZAFT type mobile suits.
She didn’t give the three GINN’s or the two DINN’s a glance. Their model series were good machines but they were becoming so very obsolete as it were. She stopped to gaze at the three mobile suits that would be the first Obsidian Abyss mass-production model mobile suits.
“The OAMF Z-DoMZ,” Tammy spoke softly as she stared at the mobile suits. They were designed with black and purple as their main color schemes. The body while bulky was agile and fast due to the hover-booster system built into the legs which literally allowed the suits to hover over the ground and move at speeds to give a BCUE a hard time. The armor was thick and strong, normally this would be a hindrance, but the hover system made the extra armor work. On its back were booster-fins that allowed short-range flight, excellent for softening a descent from a drop ship or execute a powerful boost jump. The head was unique designed so that the mono-eye could move either up and down, left or right. The typical armament for the DoMZ is a specialized hyper-bazooka, with two extra round-clips attached to the side-skirts. A typical GINN machine gun was mounted on the back as a back up weapon. In a special holster on the left back shoulder was a ‘heat saber’, a weapon that was like a thick saber-pole that heated up with beam energy that allowed it to slice or stab enemy machines with superb handling.
Tammy approached her DoMZ which had a crest and red pattern on the head that denoted a commander’s unit. “Are all the mobile suits ready?” She asked a technician who was doing a final check up on her DoMZ.
The tech turned around to face her; saluting as he spoke. ”We’ll be ready to depart post haste ma’am!”
”Good have the other pilots suit up and get aboard their suits, once they’ve done so load the suits onto the subs and we’ll be departing to meet up with Lane.”
”Yes ma’am!”
