Lab Days - Bishiegate: A Small Introduction [Episode 139739]

by Kender

"Just great," O'Neill sighed as he looked from his position at the observation post to see where the students were filing around the gates to the school grounds. "This is just going to be fun, I know it."

"Sir?" Frazier asked.

"With so many kids around, we're going to be here for a while."

"Longer than you think."

"Oh?"

"We have to look at all the variables, and just finding the first person to show symptoms isn't always going to make that individual 'patient zero'. There are factors that can slow or speed up an illness, and so we'd have to make sure that we go over each person, carefully."

The colonel pressed his lips together in a look of grudging acceptance. "Swell..."

"What's the matter, sir?" Sam asked, "Aren't you happy that we only have to deal with these kids instead of something else?"

"Carter, I didn't like high school when I was a student. What makes you think that I'll like it now?"

"Oh... I see..."

"But are you not older, and no longer in a position to attend such a place?" Teal'c put in.

"That just makes me feel great to think about. Now, I'm going to be stuck watching schoolgirls."

"Hmm."

"I don't think that you have to worry about anyone wondering why you're looking at a school," Daniel commented.

"Why is that?"

"It looks like something rather odd's going on over there."

Together, SG-1 and their Japanese companions looked over at the school gates, where a boy wearing a blue hakama instead of the normal uniform was walking.

Most of the school was still reeling from what had happened, and some of the girls still had to come back to classes. A lot of boys were happy that they had girls acting very affectionate towards them, while others were giddy over how each and every one of their female classmates and teachers was now a complete and utter babe. A few even had a rather odd take on certain aspects of the whole change thing.

Tatewaki Kuno was one of them, and as he strode forth and posed with his weapon of choice, he received only curious looks as other students tried to figure out what he was doing.

"Hear this, oh most beauteous creatures sent by the heavens," he declared, "I, Tatewaki Kuno, am here to receive the adoration and affections that one such as myself deserves! Come now, and give me what the manliness represented by my glorious self would receive from your desires!"

All the students merely looked at him for a long moment, and he stood there, certain that he'd have catgirls wanting to cuddle, doggirls wishing for pettings, angels to sing his praises, and all the other joys that would be his.

Then every boy and girl who was not standing like an idiot on the front walk merely walked in to class, murmuring to each other about the latest actions of the school's wannabe samurai.

Soon, he was standing alone, with only a few leaves blown by the breeze making any movement around him.

"Well, that answers his question," Samantha murmured.

Daniel gave a slight blink, having duly translated the boy's words for his friends. "I think that I can hear crickets chirping."

"Hey, I can't blame them," Jack drawled, "after his little speech... Didn't know Japan had kids that bad..."

"Indeed," Teal'c commented, raising one of his brows as he did so.

"It gets worse," Tezuka informed him.

"How so?"

"There is a history of strange happenings around this school, and many individuals that are not quite normal are either students, faculty, or visitors here."

"So, what you're saying is that we're in for a treat," Jack drawled.

"You could say that."

"Why do have the feeling of a migraine coming on?" Sam asked no one in particular while:
