Gai Murakumo whistled a small tune to himself as he continued to inspect his personal upgrades to the Blue Frame. 'Both layers of armour seem to be alright.' He then finished the last bite of his sandwich that he had put together for a snack a little while ago.
"How's it going up there?" asked Elijah as he examined his own custom GINN suit.
"Blue Frame's in good shape in case of an emergency. And I recharged the power for the Blue Frame to replenish the energy it used during the last job this morning." Gai paused. "You know, we really should get you a new suit sometime. The GINN's getting out of date."
"Well, if we do get a chance to get a new suit for me, then that would be nice. If not, I'll adapt and keep working on this suit as long as I can. Although it would be nice if I could get one of those new ZAFT GuAIZ suits," murmured Elijah.

"The transfer is done. Payment has been received," chirped the young voice of Kazahana Aja. Her mother Loretta smiled before speaking again into the Viper's communications system.
"It's been a pleasure doing business with you. If you require our services again, you know how to get in touch with us." Loretta then closed the channel and gave a small sigh. "Well, that job was fairly easy. Do we have anything else that needs to be taken care of?"
"Not really. Just the usual routine checkups for the Blue Frame and Elijah's custom GINN." Kazahana let out a small yawn.
"I told you to go to bed at 2100 hours last evening. You do need more sleep than the rest of us," scolded the elder Aja gently.
"Sorry, mom. I just lost track of time when I performed the Viper's diagnostics last night." The young girl fought back another yawn that threatened to escape her lips.
"Well, I suppose you can catch a light nap now. I'll wake you up when it's supper time, alright?" Kazahana nodded and slipped out of her chair. Before she could head towards her quarters, she heard the bridge computer start beeping.
Loretta sat down by the console and frowned. "The sensors seemed to have detected some weapons fire near the Martius Five PLANT. Let's boost the radar a bit." She typed in a few commands before checking her readings. "Two Laurasia-class ships without a ZAFT registry?!? The Archangel?!?"
A few moments later, Gai and Elijah were informed of the situation. "Someone's attacking the Archangel? It's a good bet that it's the faction who tried killing Olbani weeks ago. How are they doing?"
"They're holding out but they are outnumbered. I don't know why they haven't sent out a distress call though," muttered Loretta.
"Could be communications failure or something else that's jamming the signal. But aren't there supposed to be ZAFT patrols around the PLANTs?" asked Elijah.
"I've been able to pick up several groups of GuAIZ units gathered together in one spot around Quintilis Three. Since Quintilis City's specialty is chemistry, I'm assuming that there's been some major chemical accident and the GuAIZ units are there to provide assistance."
"An accident? Or was it carefully planned by that mystery faction to draw them away from normal patrols?" wondered Gai. "In any case, we should go help out the Archangel. They did afterall try to promote peace between Naturals and Coordinators. How long until we can reach them?"
Loretta did a mental calculation in her head. "At our top speed? About fifteen minutes or so. The Viper isn't exactly a speedy ship like a Nazca-class, you know."
"Elijah and I can launch ahead and try to help out the Archangel. You just focus on getting here in time to make a difference, alright?"
"Understood." Elijah and Gai quickly got into some flight suits and boarded their respective units. Then the catapult of the Viper opened up to allow the mobile suits to blast off. Automated machines helped to firmly attach the Second G pack to the Blue Frame while Elijah picked up his weapons and attached them on to his mobile suit.
Kazahana's voice came over the intercom. "System's all green! You are cleared for take off!"
"Gai Murakumo! Blue Frame, launching!!"
"Elijah Kiel, rolling out!!"
