*BOOM*
The door to Pee Wee's hide away fell easily before the Brianna Cannon.
"Stand your ground men!" somebody shouted. "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes!" The assorted thugs stared at him as if he were crazy and began firing away into the cloud of smoke.
"What followed LOOKED like a crossbow bolt, but the damage it did to the fortified wall gate certainly wasn't something a normal crossbow bolt could do. Nor could a normal bolt turn about in flight.
What followed was a mass of energy bursts that literally filled the hallway with smoke and debris. A few seconds later Brianna and Penny in gas masks and with infrared goggles came rushing through the unconscious guards.
They travelled quickly, using the goggles to scan through the walls for heat sources. They heard what they were looking for first.
"What was that thing?" Monique asked.
"I don't know," Ranma said. "Too smoky to see."
"RANMA!!!" Brianna called out, scooping up her daughter into a relieved hug.
"Mom?" Ranma blinked. Then she returned the hug. "Mom! I got us out of that room mom! Just like on MacGuyver!"
"Monique," Penny said, seriously. "This is why you don't play pranks about getting kidnapped."
"Got it, Penny," Monique answered.
*We got a few problems,* a voice over the comm declared.
"Gina?" Brianna said. "When did you get here?"
*You'd think I'd stay out of this?* Gina answered back. *Stryp, Genn and Charlotte are here too. Can you find your way to the security office?*
"On our way!" Brianna said.
"%$#&ING NINJA!"
"Oh good, she's going to be fine."
