But they were still looking for him, and getting out to this 'Musk Citadel' seemed to be a good option. So, he'd headed out into the wild mountains of China, looking for this ancient martial art form. He was certain that once he'd get there, he'd get them to reveal their secrets, and get his son taught in them.
However... He was also very lost. There wasn't a map that said 'Musk live here', and so he had to wing it as best he could. Fortunately, he learned of a little side trip that they could take.
After all, this 'Norwegian Amazon Viking Catgirl Village' sounded like it would be perfect for a stop in learning how to fight. Sure, all he heard was 'Amazon' and 'Viking' before he put them together and realized that they were famed warrior tribes of the west. That meant that they had to have at least some techniques to teach his boy.
Of course, what was going on at the moment was not in the plan. He hadn't expected to have seen so many catgirls being there, nor did he want to have to deal with his boy's foolish fears. Hell, he'd had to drag his son into the place just so that he could get him ready for the lesson that he was no doubt about to get.

That didn't matter to Genma at the moment, much as the fact that his supposedly brave son was whimpering and cringing didn't garner much of his attention.
He was a little busy with the locals at the moment.
"Tell us," the woman in front of the crowd of villagers asked, "why is your boy this way?"
"What do you mean?" he replied.
"I mean that your son is apparently terrified of us."
"Oh, that was a training accident..."
"Really..."
"Oh, yes. You see, he was learning something called the 'Neko-ken', and..."
"The 'Cat-Fist'?" she murmured with a frown.
"That's it. You see, it's a special technique that makes the fighter who uses it unbeatable. But the training had its dangers. Oh, if only I had known!"
"And what would they be?"
"They're many," he began, and, thankful that he was getting an audience that apparently knew enough about the dangers of simple training not to attack him, began to describe the training... in detail.
Such an action might not have been good for telling to a bunch of catgirls in Chinese dresses and fur cloaks bearing really nasty weaponry.
He didn't realize that there might be a problem though, and so he merely blinked as he saw that:
