It was indeed a busy day for the ship service crew who worked at the spaceport located at Aprilius One. The Eternal, Archangel and Viper had all docked into the port the previous evening. Although the Viper was not in need of major repair work, the Eternal had to get her weapons fixed up along with reinforcing the hull integrity on the port side. The Archangel also needed to get her weapons and her hull fixed up. The only mobile suit requiring major repairs was the Freedom Gundam with the Duel and the Buster simply requiring a battery recharge and a new supply of ammo for their missile launchers.
Dearka looked over the new Justice Gundam as maintenance crews examined the suit while another crew worked on integrating the METEOR back into the Eternal's systems. "So how's the new suit, Athrun?"
"It feels like the first Justice that I piloted a few months ago. I can hardly tell any difference," commented the young Coordinator. "Where did Yzak go?"
"He went off to work on the Duel. The guy's a little irritated that his suit wasn't efficient enough to take out those four new suits that attacked the Archangel yesterday," replied Dearka. "We should really put some effort into designing some more upgrades for our suits. Lord knows that I really need it. The Buster practically hasn't changed since I swiped it!"
"You could always try stealing another new suit from the Abyss," joked Kira.
"Easier said than done. In any case, if Gai could design a ton of upgrades to the Blue Frame to have it keep up with the latest suits, then why can't I do the same for the Buster?" The blonde Coordinator cracked his knuckles. "Alright...time to get to work!"

"We've arrived at the Onogoro islands, sir," said the pilot of the transport plane. Lord Djibril stood up and prepared to depart the vessel along with his assistant, Desmond.
As the two of them entered a car that would take them to Morgenroete, Desmond spoke up. "Here are your cue cards for your presentation to the Orb delegates, sir."
"Thank you but I don't think I will need them. As of the moment, the Orb legislature is still a protectorate of the Atlantic Federation. A few good pokes here and there and soon, the Orb Union would be scrambling to join the Earth Alliance. Then our organization would be able to get access to Orb technology..."
"Um, sir. I think I see a few news vans ahead of us," reported the driver.
Djibril had a calm smile on his face. "Well, it's only natural when a person of my status is making a political visit to Orb. When we get close to the press, stop the vehicle so I can address them briefly."

"Good morning, sir. Here's the latest report on the construction of the Takemikazuchi," said a young officer as he handed over a small booklet to an elder man.
"Thank you, ensign. You're dismissed." As the officer left the office, Todoka leaned back into his seat and started running through the pages. His television was currently turned on and tuned into the latest news on Earth. Apparently, a high ranking diplomatic official from the Earth Alliance would be speaking to the Orb government about becoming full members of the Alliance. 'More like spreading anti-Coordinator propaganda...'
With the thought of Coordinators on his mind, his thoughts drifted back to the young Coordinator that he had helped back in June when the Alliance attacked Orb. It took the boy a little while to come to terms with what happened to his family and ignite a fire to obtain power to prevent another disaster like that from happening again. So Todoka had arranged transport for the boy to head to a ZAFT base and enlist in their forces. He would never forget the boy's last words to him.
"By the way...the name's Shinn Asuka. Thank you for all your help."
Now for Something Else.
