Of course, as she slammed the door open, and saw three of the tower's girls looking disappointed there with him, she scowled. "What are you doing?!"
"Trying to eat," Yajiro muttered with a scowl. "But with all the things going on here, it's been hard going. Especially now with all that noise going on, how's a guy supposed to have a meal?"
"Your partner's in a pinch right now!"
"Huh?!" he grunted, and moved out to a balcony where he could lean back and look up at the fight, as the tanned woman slammed her weapon against the tiles and caused an explosion. "That's one hell of a weapon. Is it supposed to be a spear or something?"
"Is that it?! Ain't you worried?!"
"It's a gun against a spear. It won't even be a contest. The spear lady looks like she's got some experience, but Rushuna's been getting plenty of battle experience. Worrying's a waste of energy. Now, time to eat..."
"Hey!" the girl called out in confusion as he walked back inside.
"Since her bounty's been discovered, we can't stay here. Gotta eat when you can."
She stared after him, torn between wondering what sort of person could so easily dismiss his friend's situation, and the possibility that the blonde could really be that good. If the latter was true, then she could actually be a very powerful fighter, and that was a prospect she was uncertain about. But she didn't know what to do, so she merely watched while:
