"It must be attracted to Galvayra," Lina thought, as she tossed the bow away from her.
At least she tried to. Lina looked on in shock as the bow had returned to her hand. The tendril of energy struck Galvayra. Lina heard everyone shouting her name, as she vanished.
Images flashed through Lina's mind, as waves of various colored lights. As each color flashed by, Lina brought up names in her mind.
Yellow. "Lord of Nightmares."
Red. "Flare Dragon and Ruby Eye."
Black. "Night Dragon and Dark Star."
White. "Metal Dragon and Death Fog."
Blue. "Rune Dragon and Chaotic Blue."
Brown. "What?"
Green. "Huh?"
The blurring lights stopped and Lina felt very hot. She was lying on her back in a desert, with two suns blazing overhead. Using Galvarya as a came, Lina shakily stood up and looked around. She saw a white domed structure behind her and several metal golems in differing shapes doing work.
Lina quickly thought, "Dimensional travel. Six worlds? Green and Brown? I'll have to figure out a way back to my world. I'm so far away. I wonder what the Green Dragon and Green Dark Lord's names are."
A strange noise caused her to turn. She saw a carriage floating slightly above the sand heading her way. Oddly, it was not being drawn by any sort of draft animal or golem. A sandy haired boy, slightly older than herself was driving the cart. The cart pulled up next to her and the boy leapt out.
"Hello. My name is Luke Skywalker. Can I help you?"
"Lina Inverse. I don't know if you can. I woke up in front of your house, before that the last thing I remember is being with my friends."
A middle age man came out of the house and saw Luke and Lina. "Luke, who's your friend. You should have been back an hour ago."
"Sorry, Uncle Owen. I was saying good-bye to Tev. He's on his way to work at one of the ship factories."
Lina spoke up, "Mr. Owen? My name is Lina Inverse and well...."
Lina quickly explained that she had woken up here and shortly thereafter Luke had come.
Owen asked, "Does your family have any enemies?"
Lina grimaced, "Well,...."
"Assassination attempt. Knock you out, and dump you in the desert. That would explain that large roaring noise earlier."
"Time to pull out my emergency funds," Lina thought, as she dug out a small bag of gems.
"Right now I need a place to stay and an area to figure out what I'm going to do. Will this be able to cover renting or buying housing in the nearby area?"
Stunned, Owen looked at the glittering gems that Lina had pulled out. "You could easily buy a building in Mos Eisley for a fraction of what you have there."
Lina smiled. "I need some time alone. Maybe a cave or something? Save costs on building."
Luke said, "There's a cave near Beggar's Canyon that might work. It's a little large."
"Sounds like a good idea for me to check out."
Owen said, "Luke, show Miss Inverse the cave and see if it meets her desires."
As the two teens left, Owen muttered under his breath. "She must be a princess. I wonder which government has made Palpatine mad this time around."
The cave near Beggar's Canyon was easily found and it was quite large with seven large chambers and fifteen smaller ones. Lina paced through the caverns and nodded to herself.
"This can work. So who do I have to see about buying the place."
Luke stared as Lina. "No one owns this place. All you have to do is just move in. Living here is dangerous. The Tusken Raiders will probably find you and kill you, unless you have a force field up."
Lina waved off Luke's concerns. "I'll be fine. I need to get some basic supplies and I'll be set."
With Owen, Beru, and Luke's help, Lina was able to turn the cave into a home. Even though, most of her Black Magic spells were gone, Lina was still able to enchant the place heavily. The enchantments prevented anyone from sneaking up on her. Also using the spell Aqua Create, she was able to get a fruit and vegetable garden growing in the first chamber. When asked about how she kept the garden growing, Lina used Xellos' catch phrase.
As the months passed, Lina became a fixture of much speculation on Tatooine. Especially after the one time the Tusken Raiders made an attempt on her and they ran in terror from her home. Lina spent a lot of time at the Lars homestead, learning about Tatooine. She always brought over fresh fruit and vegetables to help them out.
Looking into a reflective surface in her home, Lina closed her eyes and put her hand on the wall. "I'm not aging. I won't age until I get back to my world. Time travel and dimensional travel. Will I be able to return only a few minutes after I left?"
Unknown to the people of Tatooine, Lina was still a powerful sorceress and she had gathered up books on mystic lore and the Jedi religion. She always mixed those purchases with books on history and technology. She had turned her cavern into a wizard's laboratory dedicated into researching dimensional travel. Lina hoped that with the Demon Blood Talismans and Galvayra, she would be once more able to breach the dimensional barrier.
It was a time of peace for Lina. Peace that would not last.
