"They are evil, Sailor Moon!" Sailor Uranus said forcefully as she prepared another attack in case the Youma recovered before their leader finally decided to attack.
Hild raised an eyebrow and decided that she should stop these devil hunters from killing her underlings. Mara and Ranma had a future of eternal suffering withstanding each other ahead of them, after all. She blinked, however, when she saw the goddess trainee step forward.
Sailors Uranus and Neptune stared hard at Nodoka, who was now standing between them and the downed demons with a determined look on her face. "I won't allow you to hurt my son," Nodoka said firmly. While it was true that Ranma started the fight, it was also true that her son and his companion were in no state to defend themselves.
"Neptune! Uranus!" Sailor Moon cried when she saw her friends about to attack regardless of the woman standing in their way. It wasn't the first time it happened, and she sure wasn't going to allow them to keep hurting innocents.
While Neptune did stop her attack, Uranus was already committed to it. "WORLD SHAKING!"
"NO!!!" Sailor Moon cried in horror.
Nodoka closed her eyes but didn't move. She would shield her son from any harm... with her own eternal life if needed.
As it turned out it didn't come to that. Uranus' attack was deflected by a lightning strike hitting it from the side so, instead of pulverizing the demons and goddess; it demolished a section of the outer wall. This action elicited a groan from a certain human male.
The Sailor Senshi turned to see a platinum-haired woman lowering her hand to her side; a glare directed their way. Urd hadn't gotten involved before because Hild was present. The major demoness could easily deal with whatever the Senshi could come up with and wouldn't allow Ranma and Mara to be killed. If only because of how badly it would reflect on demons in general. But when the Outer Senshi attacked her ward... "What do you think you're doing?"
Sailor Moon, already out of balance with the weird behavior from the Youma, turned to Sailor Mercury for advice. Even she knew something was very wrong with the situation...
Meanwhile Sailor Mercury was too busy trying not to choke. At first she dismissed everyone but Hild, Mara and Ranma because they didn't come off as having an evil aura... but now that she scanned them... "Sailor Moon... The woman in the kimono is as strong as Mars... And she's the weakest one..." Needless to say was that the other goddesses were a lot more powerful.
The other Inner Senshi felt nervous at the news. They were used to fighting against one very powerful being, not four at the same time.
Meanwhile Urd and Uranus were caught in a staring match, trying to glare the other down.
Skuld didn't feel like allowing her Aunty Nodoka, even if she was the reason for Keichi and Belldandy getting married, to be hurt by the Sailor Senshi. She stepped forward, followed by her older sister, and joined the goddess in training in protecting the demons. She didn't know how or why Nodoka's son was a demon, the son she cried so much about in learning about his death, but right now she didn't care.
"Might I suggest a strategic retreat?" Hild asked in amusement, seeing the goddesses defending her minions from a group of devil hunters. Even beaten and unconscious the new demon was capable of causing such delicious chaos. If things turned out fine it might become a full-scale war between devil hunters and Kami. Maybe with a little nudge here... and a phone call to a certain green-haired one... Yes, she really liked the possibilities.
Eventually the Sailor Senshi did retreat to regroup under orders from Sailor Moon, even the Outers. Something about the entire encounter definitely rubbed her the wrong way.

When Ranma woke up he was being smothered with kisses. He barely had the chance to open his mouth to protest before he found it full of Kodachi's tongue.
Urd smirked in amusement from the side, happy to see that little bastard get overwhelmed like that, and turned to see Nodoka happily playing with her granddaughter. It was fitting in so many ways now that Nodoka was the goddess of grandchildren.
The others were talking about inconsequential stuff, except Hild and Belldandy that weren't in the room, and Urd really had to wonder about her sister's powers of persuasion. Not only did she manage to have Hild stay over for tea, but demons and goddesses were actually in the same building without a fight starting. Mara was very subdued and withdrawn on a corner, mumbling to herself as her eyes darted nervously to the hall. She was obviously nervous about Hild returning.
As if by summoned, Hild chose that precise moment to enter the room with Belldandy close behind. The major demoness zeroed in on Mara, who looked up with no small amount of fear in her eyes. Feeling the sudden arrival all the others interrupted what they were doing to stare at the upcoming exchange.
"Uh... Hi..." Mara offered weakly. Sure she was completely healed, but her voice wasn't weak because of any injury.
Hild smiled sweetly at her, making Mara to start shaking in fear. "Hello, Mara-chan."
"She's fucked..." Ranma whispered and felt Kodachi hold him possessively. The Kuno woman, soon to be Saotome, was very much afraid of losing her demon lover.
Nabiki looked on in interest, and making a note never to piss Hild off. Mara was one thing, Ranma could protect her from the demoness, but the major demoness was another matter entirely.
"I spoke to Belldandy and she gave me very convincing arguments not to do good on your punishment," Hild said with that very same smile on her face, almost dripping honey.
Mara remained sitting there, afraid to even take a breath. She knew Hild, something was fishy here.
Urd's mother continued. "I will even reinstate you to Second Class Limited, a period of probation for you to recover your true status."
Ranma stared at Hild in shock at that.
Nabiki raised an eyebrow.
Mara paled further. "... What...?" This was too good to be true. Things couldn't be that easy. Even if Hild was amused by the whole ordeal with the Senshi there was no way she would be this nice... unless she was preparing something even worse!!!
Hild smirked, and it was a smile that made even Kodachi nervous. "It wouldn't do for you to be easy pickings for any two-rate devil hunter, now would it? Particularly in your current condition and since you can't use your secondary energy source."
Nabiki's eyes widened in disbelief when she caught the not so hidden meaning in Hild's words. She would've burst out laughing if she weren't so shocked.
"You mean..." Nodoka trailed off, a proud smile Ranma had come to fear illuminating her features.
Belldandy hugged the frozen Mara with a smile on her face. "Congratulations, Mara-chan! You're pregnant!"
