"Her name is Sakura Kasugano."
The other girls turned their attention -- split though it was -- to the blue-eyed coil-haired natural blonde who had spoken. Her demeanor was that of one who was not merely wealthy, but self-assured in that wealth and power.
"I am Karin Kanzuki, heir of the Kanzuki Zaibatsu and of the Kanzuki School of Kakutojutsu. Sakura is my rival and has become my friend because of that rivalry. She uses the Ansatsuken Style, learned by watching fighters like Ryu and Ken Masters in battle. She has proven to be my better in the Art."
Nabiki recognized Karin's zaibatsu immediately, and was fully aware of the Kanzuki family motto 'to be the best at everything'. For a scion of that family to admit inferiority of any sort underlined Sakura's capability.
The other stranger, in the cage, spoke up now. A natural red-head with eyes the red of cooling coals. Very unusual. "My name is Hikaru Shidou, and I'm trained in the Shidou School of Kendo." She was also very cute, if rather short. Though her current lack of dress made it obvious that she was just as mature as the rest of them. "You're saying that we've got a pair of brainless amateurs playing around with magic spells?" she shuddered. "That's bad. That's very bad."
The other girls took up the trend and began to introduce themselves. Shampoo of the Joketsuzoku. Kaori Daitokuji. Ukyo Kuonji, Kasumi, Nabiki, and Akane Tendo. Kodachi Kuno.
Kaori spoke up, "Okay, so except for Shampoo, Kodachi, and Sakura over there," she gestured at the coupling couple, "it's pretty certain that we were all engaged to Ranma by his father and one of our parents. Even if some of us weren't aware of that fact before."
"Right," Nabiki replied. "Shampoo's after him because he defeated her in combat and that triggered a marriage law among her people, and Kodachi is just after him. Though I should point out that the Tendo-Saotome agreement actually only applies to one of us. Kasumi and I rather panicked and dumped the whole thing on Akane."
"Gee, thanks sis." Akane scowled.
"If you'd been faster..." Nabiki grinned back.
"So how do you suppose Sakura got involved?" Karin wondered. She most definitely is not from a martial arts family, so she would not have gotten betrothed that way."
"Well, why don't we just ask her?" asked Kasumi. "After all, it looks like they're just about done."
Indeed, the love making between Sakura and Ranma was clearly reaching a crescendo. As the other nine girls turned their full attention on the pair, they reached a climactic finale.
"Indeed, old friend. Why, the book even guarantees complete satisfaction."
But whose satisfaction, exactly?
"Best of all, nobody else can interfere. The spell ensures that nobody will notice their disappearance until they return."
Of course, that also means that the duo won't notice that the others have vanished along with Akane and Ranma.
"Pure genius. By the time anyone realizes what has happened, it will all be over and our house will be united."
Ranma answered with a deep and lingering kiss which curled the toes of any romantic.
"Pervert! If you're quite done, perhaps we can see about getting out of here," Akane screeched, interrupting the two of them.
"Well, she's quite impatient. Perhaps you should go to her next."
"What? Hey! Wait a second," Akane stammered, as Ranma stood up and approached her, his erection standing iron-hard before him. "That's not..."
Akane's protests vanished the instant Ranma's fingers brushed her skin. Her nipples hardened, her vagina dampened, and her breath quickened as she flushed with desire. The two of them crashed together in their passion.
"Akane! That's most improper."
"Give it up sis. Akane was the one who chose to open her big mouth."
Ukyo blinked. "Say, if what you were saying earlier about that memory block and such is correct, does that mean that Akane's going to turn into some crazed, obsessed nympho about Ranma now?"
Nabiki snorted at the thought. "Hardly. Just because Akane's thoughts of Ranma were always tainted by her rage didn't mean that her anger completely overwhelmed her. Think of it more like having music playing in the background while you're studying. You know that the music is there, and that it affects your mood and such, but you can still focus on other things."
"So, Sakura, are you going to get us out of these chains?"
"Now why would I want to that, Karin? It really wouldn't be fair to the rest of you." The expression on Sakura's face was perfectly guileless, showing her clear puzzlement at the question. She turned her focus back to the new couple.
It was clear that Sakura was not only free of the chains, but also of the compulsion to watch Ranma's couplings. It was equally clear that she was enjoying the show and awaiting the others to take their turns. A lust-filled glance around the room suggested that it wasn't just another bout with Ranma that was on her mind.
Karin restrained a shiver as she asked her friend, "So, Sakura, do you have any idea how you might have gotten caught up in all of this?" She quickly explained what had been discussed earlier.
Sakura blinked and thought. "I remember meeting Ranma when we were kids, just before Junior High. He was just learning how to focus his ki, and he taught me this game of 'Push'."
"Push?" asked Ukyo. "How does that work?"
"Oh, basically you focus your ki and 'push' it into your partner. They then push back with their own ki. It was scary at first, but really fun. For some reason though, his father was furious about it when he found out and made us both promise not to play 'Push' with anyone else ever again."
Kasumi's jaw dropped in shock. "Kami. That's incredibly dangerous. You're extremely lucky you weren't killed or worse. That's just about the most dangerous method there is to open up a martial artist to using their ki."
"That probably explains how you got engaged to Ranma," Nabiki noted. "The fat panda mentioned something about a girl that had gotten engaged to Ranma due to some 'martial artist's obligation' when I pressured him after that delivery race. I never was able to get him to elaborate further."
"No Minako, has he gone missing?"
"I'm afraid so. I haven't seen him around anywhere. I thought he might be over there with Luna."
"Nope. And Luna's right here with me. Do you suppose he's in trouble again?"
"Oh, I dearly hope not. But we'd best make sure."
"Right, let's call up the others so Ami can do a scan for him and Rei can scry the sacred flame. We'll meet at the temple."
"Thanks, Usagi."
"No problem."
