That design flaw would come back to bite them in the ass.
While Jane kept watch, Kou took out a special lock pick and inserted it into the padlock that kept the panel door securely shut. He moved and toggled the pick around until each tumbler inside the lock was picked and the padlock unlocked. Taking off the lock and opening the panel, Kou took out his specialized PDA and turned it on, bringing up a special file as he inserted a jack into the panel. With a grin he pressed the enter button and a flashing box labeled “Uploading” read across his PDA screen. After thirty seconds the screen flashed “Upload Complete” and Kou un-jacked his PDA and put the panel and lock back as they were. Giving his comrade the thumbs up, they proceeded toward the MS carriers for the next phase of the operation.
The next phase was just as complex and could easily fail if the virus that Kou had uploaded into the security network failed. For this phase, Kou would climb into each mobile suit cockpit and disable the self-destruct and any other added anti-theft protocols. While he did this, Jane would be placing a special form of Plastique to certain points on the undercarriages of the carriers as a special measure incase of a worst-case scenario situation. Normally with security cameras kept on the mobile suits 24/7, such tasks couldn’t be done without being seen. However the virus Kou uploaded would render his and Jane’s actions unseen by the cameras which kept replaying the same images of the suits until the virus was cancelled by a special signal, assuming the virus works that is.
With the moment of truth at hand, Jane knelt under one of the carriers, taking the Plastique from her uniform and carefully molding it onto the framework of the underside before sticking a plastic micro transmitter that would serve as the detonation igniter. She slide form under the carrier and moved toward the front to repeat the process.
Kou meanwhile had climbed inside the Raider Full-Spec and was already working on disabling the self-destruct and anti-theft measures. He sighed in relief as the computer read back to him that the security measures had been disabled safely. “Whew, if I messed up this thing would not only trigger an alarm, but it might activate and blow up anyway.” He murmured in relief. “Well two down, three to go.” He says to himself as he climbs out and shuts the cockpit hatch. After climbing down from the carrier he passes Jane. “No security guards flooding in, I guess that means the virus works.”
”Hopefully that’s the case.” Jane agrees in a low voice. “Let’s also hope Lowe’s doing his thing while getting our coffee.”
*********
Fortunately for Jane and Kou, Lowe was doing his end quite well.
“-And so I asks the guy, “Where’s the restroom?”, and he starts going on about what the damn place offers in the latest home electronics and I say, “Look fella, I don’t need a sales pitch, I need your damned restroom or I’m libel to just unzip the fly and piss on your wares right here and now!”
The gathered guards and other workers broke out in wild laughter as Lowe fed them another load of BS-jokes. If one thing Lowe was good at besides being a Junk Tech, it was slinging bullshit. So far he was keeping his captive audience in the rec-room as intended so Jane and Kou could work without someone walking in on them while they were working.
Before he could tell the next joke a ringing sound silenced the room; reaching into his pocket Lowe answered his cell phone. “Hello? AH!! Emily, how’re you? I’m good, just about ready to do my job, and when I get back we’ll go on that vacation like I promised. Okay bye!” He hangs up and looks at the guards and workers. “My wife.” He says and they nod in understanding. “Well I dallied enough, I gotta get my pals some coffee or they’ll lynch me from the caffeine-withdrawal.” He chuckles as he goes to the vending machines to get the coffee.

Hanging up her cell phone, Jane winked at Kou. “Told that bugger Sam to hurry up with the coffee, I’m starting to get woozy without my fix.”
Hanging up his own cell phone Kou rolled his eyes. “He’s always late with the coffee and snacks the lazy-bum.” While Jane had called Lowe under the guise of telling him to hurry up with the coffee, he had pretended to call his “girlfriend” which in turn was the signal for the virus to shut itself down and allow the cameras to resume normal operations.

Sitting inside the cockpit of his Sword Calamity, Ed kept his eyes peeled on the monitors where were focused on the hanger doors of the depot. He softly tapped his fingers on the control joysticks as he waited for the signal. His monitor beeped suddenly, drawing his attention, his camera zomming in to see both hanger doors begin to open. He zoomed in to maximum magnification and spotted Lowe exiting the hanger stretching his back in an exaggerated fashion.
There was the signal he was waiting for.
Grabbing the joysticks of his Sword, Ed moves his mobile suit toward the direction of the small military base near the depot. “Its show time,” He said to himself as he activated the thrusters and flew from out of the cover of the woods, the woodland camouflage tarps used to help conceal his mobile suit flying off as he flew toward the base. His part of the plan was to serve as a distraction, and he had every intention of doing his part to the fullest.
