The explosion destroyed the building and bits of various creatures rained down around Lina.
"This bandit leader had to be a giant slug," Lina said, using Galvayra as support. "Great. I probably just blew the treasure up with him."
Lina scoured around the bottom of the bowl that she had created. She quickly found a vault that was just barely outside the blast range. Quickly using a spell to unlock the door, Lina found Jabba the Hutt's treasure room. She quickly grabbed as much treasure as she possibly could. A piece of paper caught her attention. Unrolling it, she saw that it was some sort of contract.
"Han Solo and Chewbaca? Oh, I see. Slugboy must have been blackmailing them."
Shrugging, she stuffed the paper inside her cape. Afterwards, Lina headed home using Raywing and stored her loot in one of the smaller caverns. A jangling at the front of the cave alerted her that someone had just arrived. She forgot about the piece of paper still in her cape.
Lina prepared for the worst, as she came into the front chamber. She breathed a sigh of relief, as she saw her apprentice for the past several months in the entrance.
"Oh. Hi, Luke. What's up? It's a little early for your lesson."
Luke was troubled. "Yesterday, Uncle Owen bought a pair of droids. The R2 unit ran off and I was hoping to get your help in finding him."
Lina grimaced. "I can't do it. But, you can if you touched that droid. I'll have to teach you how to locate things on the way. Let's go."
The two with the droid C-3P0 made their way through the various dunes. Lina laid out the basics for the location spell for Luke. Luke was able to find R2's position and the landspeeder headed in that direction.
Luke muttered, "That droid is very determined. I have never seen such loyalty before."
Lina thought, "A mystery? I was getting bored."
The trio found the droid near some mountains.
Luke sighed, as he stepped in front of R2. "What am I going to do with you?"
R2 beeped and whistled.
C-3PO translated. "Master Luke, R2 says that he has to deliver that message to Obi Wan Kenobi. I keep telling him that he belongs to you now."
Lina asked, "You mentioned a Ben Kenobi to me once. Maybe Obi Wan was his brother."
Luke looked around. "We're near where old Ben lives. We really should head back."
Lina asked, "Don't you want to get to the bottom of this mystery?"
Lina looked straight at the droid. "If turns out that Obi Wan is dead, will you stop this nonsense?"
A few beeps and whistles came from the droid.
C-3PO translated, "R2 said that if Obi Wan was dead then his mission was a failure and that he will stop running away."
Lina said, "Let's find this Ben Kenobi."
A few hwols were heard in the distance.
Luke said, "Sandpeople."
