"Just like a dungeon back home," Lina thought. "Avoid the guards and traps and claim the treasure."
She soon made it to Vader's quarters. At first she couldn't get in, but a simple Unlock spell got her through the door. She ducked into the room and saw the hyperbolic chamber Vader used when he needed to eat. She ignore that and went through the various drawers and closets.
"No other clothes?" Lina wondered aloud. "What does Vader look like and how bad does he smell?"
Shrugging that off, she found a large crystalline pyramid that she quickly snapped up. She was disappointed that it was the only Sith Holocron in the quarters. Before she left, a ghostly image of a giant head appeared in the room.
"Vader, how does progress go? Wait, you aren't Lord Vader. Who are you?"
Lina put her hands on her hips and glared at the floating head. "Lina Inverse. So who are you zombie face?"
Do you not recognize the rightful Emperor of this galaxy?"
"Oh, your Pissintine?"
"That's Lord Palpatine!"
"Tellintime?"
"Palpatine!"
Lina just grinned and winked. "Well, whatever. After I'm done here, I'm going to destroy this little toy of yours."
Palpatine glared at Lina. "You are insolent and deranged. The Death Star is the ultimate weapon of destruction. You have to deranged to invade Lord Vader's quarters."
"Like I once told Gaav, those who don't dare don't win," Lina said, smiling. "You really must be a coward. You have to build devices and force others to kill for you. You are nothing more than a third rate bad guy with delusions of competence."
Lina quickly headed for the door and opened it.
Palpatine hatefully gazed at Lina. "I will track you down and have you begging on your knees for mercy before killing you."
Exiting Vader's quarters, Lina activated her boosters and said, "Cliché line. Can't you think of anything better? Like this one. Fireball!"
Lina closed the door. The fast moving door slid closed before the fireball went off. Lina just whistled, as she heard the muffled explosion.
"I guess I should get back to the ship. There's nothing more here for me to do," Lina thought. "I think it was in that direction."
"Dam Bras," Lina said, as she launched a spell at a wall.
"At least this way, I'll pull some heat off Luke, Han, and the rug."
Lina heard alarms go off and she looked up.
A voice said over the intercom. "We believe they have split up and are on both levels three and four."
"Tsk tsk tsk. I'll have to let them know I'm here. This sounds like fun," Lina said, as she looked around a corridor's corner. "Ah. Perfect."
Lina stepped out behind a group of Storm Troopers and cast a spell. "Diem Wind!"
The hurricane force wind sent the squad slamming into the far wall. Lina quickly tossed a Digger Bolt into the pile of bodies. She smiled and blasted through a wall, leaving the squad behind.
One of the troopers who was barely conscious said over his comlink. "There's another intruder on Level 12. She's heading directly for the others. She's doing something to blow walls out. I repeat...."
As Lina smirked, she caught a glimpse of tan and brown. Lina quickly caught up with the person.
"Hi, Ben. Have you got the force generators turned off yet?"
Ben looked startled to see Lina here.
"What are you doing here? I thought I told you to stay with Luke."
Lina shrugged. "Luke and the others are right now rescuing Princess Leia. I went in a different direction to get some information and when the time came, draw off some of the patrols hunting for them."
Ben said, "You really should leave. I don't really expect to get off this station alive. Vader can sense me and will be coming."
Lina said, "Don't say things like that. If there is even a one percent chance, you should take it."
Whatever Ben was about to say was cut short, as he saw a black robed figure wielding a red lightsaber standing before them.
"Hello, Darth," Ben said, as he ignited his lightsaber.
Lina quickly pinched her nose shut.
Darth gave a glance at the short red head. "Why are you doing that?"
Lina said in a nasal voice, "When I raided your bedroom, I saw that you didn't have any other clothes. You must really stink wearing the same clothes all the time."
Ben gave a low chuckle, as Vader growled. Ben stopped and then looked at Lina in shock.
"You raided Vader's bedroom? What were you thinking."
Lina unpinched her nose and held up the Sith Holocron. "I wanted this. I did have a nice chat with Palpatine. Well I did, he didn't I kept insulting him."
Vader was in shock that this little girl had done what she had said. The Holocron proved it.
"You have courage, I will say that," Vader said in anger, as Lina stowed the Holocron away and started chanting.
Ben and Vader looked at the chanting girl. Vader stalked towards Lina, as he raised his lightsaber high.
"Power that can smash even the souls of the gods! Ragna Blade!" Lina finished her spell with a shout.
Ben and Vader flinched as the power of the Lord of Nightmares known as the Ragna Blade was called forth. Vader stepped back as he saw the black sword with golden lightning flickering around it. Lina brought the black sword down at Vader. Vader raised his lightsaber in defense, as he jumped back. If he hadn't jumped back, the Ragna Blade would have bisected him. As it was, he lost his lightsaber when the black sword tore through it. Vader dropped his now glowing saber hilt. Seeing that Lina let the Ragna Blade drop and jumped back, with Ben following her. Vader also backed up, as the lightsaber exploded. Lina didn't let up on the assault. She pointed her hands at Vader and launched a powerful Diem Wind at the Dark Lord. The Lord of the Sith learned how to fly backwards a great distance when Lina did that.
"This way to the ship," Lina said, as she blasted through more corridor walls.
Ben ran along beside Lina. "Vader is not going to accept a defeat like that lightly. You are a powerful wizardress, I'll say that much. What the heck was that black energy sword?"
Lina said, "Later. We have to join Luke and the others."
Lina blasted through another wall and saw Han's ship. Ben and Lina also saw a bunch of Storm Troopers turning in their direction.
"We do not have time for this. Demona Crystal! Dam Bras!"
The first spell of Lina's froze the squadron guarding the ship. The second shattered the Troopers into small little pieces.
Ben said, "Doing something like that puts you in threat of being taken over by the Dark Side of the Force."
Lina glared at Ben. "That's one of the reasons Chaos Words were developed from where I'm from. It acts as a shield to preserve one's own self will. If you kill someone with a spell or sword doesn't matter. They are just as dead. It's just what tool you used to do it differed."
Lina shook it off and headed for the ship. She nodded, as she saw Luke and the others heading their way. Luke looked worried, when he joined Ben and Lina.
"3PO said that you were going to harass Vader. You didn't did you?"
Lina just smiled. "I did raid his bedroom. When I was done there, I blew it up."
Han choked out, "You blew up Vader's bedroom? Are you nuts? He's not going to like that."
"After knocking him into a wall, I don't think he's to fond of me to begin with. I really didn't have the time to make sure he was dead."
Ben said, "Get on board the ship and let's get out of here. The force field generator is down."
The group boarded the Falcon and blasted its way out the Death Star's holding bay. The various groups brought each other up to date on what they did while in the Death Star. All were shocked at what Lina had said to the Emperor.
Lina asked Han, "Can this ship open its cargo bays while in space and have a force field keep the air in, while energy weapons can be fired through it."
Han replied, "That's a little expensive for a ship of this size."
"Too bad. I'll have to get one," Lina said, as she fingered Galvayra.
Leia said, "I think we might have a ship that can do that in the Rebellion, but why do you want it?"
Lina just smiled. Alarms went off, as a group of four TIE fighters started swarming the ship. Luke and Han quickly manned the guns, while Leia and Chewbacca headed for the cockpit of the ship. A little bit later, the four fighters were destroyed and the ship made the jump to hyperspace. Their destination was the Yavin System.
