"Are you all right?" Lina asked.
"I felt something horrible. I... It was..."
Lina said, "We'll deal with that later."
Leia shakily nodded and then looked at Lina. "Give me about an hour. I need to recover a bit more."
Lina nodded.
While waiting, Leia asked, "Tell me, could you have destroyed the Death Star without that bow?"
A long silence answered Leia, before Lina spoke. "Not really. Galvayra is a very powerful weapon. The first time I used it, the explosion caused a blast-induced hurricane. I fired it upward at the time. It seems to have gotten stronger in this universe. My best guess is that it changed to fit the environment. I actually had to rein in a lot of its power when I used it to kill Jabba the Hutt."
"This universe?"
Lina sighed heavily and gave Leia the story of how she wound up in this universe. Picking up Galvayra, Lina went into great detail about how Ragud Mezigis went nuts when a person who wasn't mentally strong enough held the weapon.
Lina thought, "I do not anyone killing themselves accidentally trying to control Galvayra's powers."
Lina explained how she started working with Luke and on her own research in trying to find a way home. Leia sat and listened wide-eyed. Lina finished the story, and the two of them got the ship heading back to Yavin IV. Lina's ship landed upon Yavin's moon, and the two prepared to leave the ship.
Before the two disembarked, Leia asked, "Could you have killed Darth Vader?"
Lina grimaced. "I caught him off guard. If he's as good a swordsman as his reputation makes him out to be, then it will be very difficult."
Leia said, "I see. By the way, what are you going to call your ship?"
Lina looked back at the medium freighter. "I'm not sure."
A sudden cheer went up, distracting the two women. Lina saw the Rebels smiling and cheering for her. She saw that a few faces were very troubled. Two of those people were Luke Skywalker and Ben Kenobi. Lina ignored the cheers and made her way to Ben and Luke.
"What's going on? You should be cheering like the rest of them," Lina said.
Ben replied, "We have a new problem, or an old one that has woken up. A Sith Lord by the name of Exar Kun."
Leia had followed Lina and had a look of puzzlement on her face. "I thought Vader was the only Sith Lord."
Ben sighed. "Vader is a new breed of Sith. Exar Kun is an ancient Sith Lord that has refused to die. His spirit took over the body of Biggs Darklighter and is preparing to take over the Empire."
Leia laughed. "Take over the Empire? One man by himself?"
Ben sadly gazed into Leia's eyes. After a few moments, Leia broke away from the gaze.
Ben said, "Luke and I will be heading for Tatooine to retrieve the Holocrons from Lina's home, as well as the magic knowledge. I'm going to train Luke and maybe one other. Lina, I want you and Leia to head someplace."
Ben handed Lina three small datacards. "The red card has the co-ordinates of where you need to go. The blue one has some instructions on when you get there and some information for Leia. The green card is for the person you are to meet."
Lina stared at Ben. "You're scared."
Ben replied, "I have every reason to be. Go. We don't have much time. I'm going to order an evacuation; it's not going to be safe here. Before you go, here take these. I found them in the temple, while waiting for you to return."
Lina received two more Sith Holocrons. She looked at Ben in surprise.
"I know that you are putting all the knowledge you can into those small datapads of yours."
Lina muttered, "I haven't had a chance to put Vader's in yet."
Ben ignored the muttering. "Please take your ship and go."
Curious as to what was going on, Lina did. Princess Leia quickly followed her. The medium freighter took off and Ben breathed a sigh of relief.
With an irritated expression on his face, Han Solo approached Ben and Luke. "All right, old man. Why did you want me to stick around?"
Ben said, "I need you to take us to Tatooine. After we retrieve something from there, we'll head to a different planet so that I can begin teaching two people in the ways of the Jedi."
Han said, "Two? I'm guessing Luke's one. Who's the other?"
Ben smiled. "You'll be surprised when you find that out."
Han threw up his hands in disgust.
Ben silently laughed at Han's actions. His laughter died a minute later.
He thought, "So much for our plans of keeping them in the dark. I'll have to tell Luke the whole truth after we retrieve the Holocrons. I hope Leia will forgive me for not telling her in person, but there was no time. Lina needs trained by Yoda and Leia can learn Lina's magic while she's training as well. Luke has already had some training, so I feel a little more comfortable training him."
Ben sighed, feeling the weight of the galaxy upon him. "Master Qui-Gon please watch over me, so I don't make the same mistakes."
