All things considered, Genma's plans had succeeded. He had wanted a Rune to grant Ranma a powerful advantage in his battles, and the one Ranma had just received would no doubt do the job.
After all, the True Valkyrie Rune domain was battle. From duel to trench warfare. From Cavalry charge to Blitzkrieg. The outcome were known to it, and if it was not to the bearer's taste, the True Rune power was such that he could turn any battle around .As long as there were men fighting it out, the possessor of this Rune had them in the palm of his hand .Some said that its power could still affect warriors even after their deaths.
Of course, that was only true if the Rune bearer was strong enough .As Ranma was now, he could not draw even even a fraction of its power. But simply having the Rune on his hand was going to have significant effect on his everyday life. His fighting abilities was going to grow at an incredible speed, even for him, both unarmed and with weapons. He'd be drawn to strong fighters of all kinds, wizard kings, bar brawlers, vagrant martial artists and loyal soldiers. All that mattered to The True Rune was their valor on the battlefield. More often than not, these people would be in a situation where they're strength would be tested. Possibly on the bearer himself. That side-effect had considerably shortened the life of many of Ranma's predecessors.
So with all this, Genma should have been congratulating himself for a successful scheme, right? Instead the bald martial artist was trying to wrap his mind around the fact that his son had turned into a girl. A silver-haired girl, and a rather healthy one at that.
