[Episode 14224] [Episode 14224]The enchantment was supposed to end when Ranma was kissed by the princess who would become his one true love. True to his luck, he got kissed by two young princess at the same time.
However, the conditions forfilling the 'sleeping beauty' enchantment were met, and it set to work on Ranma and the girls who would now be his one, er, two true loves. As programmed, all curses and other afflictions were lifted.
Ranma was cured of the Jusenkyo curse and various other "mostly harmless" curses he'd picked up during his 10 years of visiting mysterious temples and ancient martial-arts training-grounds. The input of Jurai-energy and lunarian magic also allowed the enchantment to use a broader definition of 'curse'. Hotaru and Ranma's bodies changed for the better as her frailty and as malnutrition and bad treatment during his childhood were erased. Any brain damage and genetic defects were also gone as if they never existed.Unfortunately, in erasing the ill effects of Ranma's childhood, the enchantment went a little overboard and restored his body to childhood, leaving him at the same age as Hotaru and Sasami. Or perhaps this was part of its effort to ensure that "normal activities would have a better than even chance to live happily ever after."
Meanwhile, all secondary enchantments were simultaneously broken. Akane, having glimpsed at the darkest depths of her rage and jealousy, decided to sneak away to a life of peace and contemplation in a remote nunnery. The other fiancees were not pleased at the results, which left them at a stand off against the rest of the senshi who, although not pleased that Hotaru had beaten them to their man were not about to let someone else beat her up.
Ranma, Sasami and Hotaru snuck away during the commotion to talk.
All in all, Ranma was not too displeased with the results. Sure, he would have to redo all his training but it was also a chance to do so without repeating the mistakes his father made. Also, he had several years to get to know the girls as friends before they started getting all mushy on him. But there was one other problem he did not want to repeat. "So, I guess I gotta marry one of you when we grow up," he said, "but I don't know who to choose."
Hotaru was pleased to get a boyfriend and a new friend her own age. She wasn't so certain about sharing her new boyfriend but her guardians made her open to the idea of alternate lifestyles. "Why can't we share?" she asked defiantly.
Sasami was the most comfortable with the situation, as Hotaru looked to make a good co-wife by Jurain mariage customs. "Why do we have to wait?" she asked. "I mean, we can't consume, consult... have the wedding night until we grow up, but we can have the wedding now, can't we."
Chibi-Ranma blinked. Marry two girls? Surely that wasn't possible. Otherwise, what had been the problem with having multiple fiancees? On the other hand, "let's not tell anyone about this just yet, okay," he said, having gained some wisdom. "Let's keep it to ourselves."
Sasami and Hotaru considered the girls who had been after their new boyfriend, glanced at each other, then nodded. Sharing with each other they could handle, but they weren't about to let any scheming harridans sink their hooks into their man too many brides spoiled the wedding.
"Okay, so what do we do now?" Ranma asked.
