Lab Days - Bishiegate: It's all fun and games until- [Episode 142859]

by Kestral

Happosai discovered something unpleasant.

bleep beep

Having heard the warning noise before, Happosai ducked as quickly as possible.

chiuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

The blast hit a flower pot, knocking it off the windowsill.

"You missed me, you missed me, now you've got to -"

CRASH!

"-kiss me?" said the aged pervert as the unexpected blow of a flowerpot atop his head (only three kilos including the decorative stones, which had fallen about eleven meters) slowed him down just a little.

Enough for the shadows to suddenly erupt and have a foreign foxgirl shimmer into visibility as she came forward.

"WAGHHH!" said Happosai, leaping out of the way. Too late he caught the smirk.

KLONG! came a galatea's fist as it slammed into the little pervert.

WHAMM! went a croquet mallet wielded by a catgirl.

It was as catgirl Akiko was backhanding the pervert to dragongirl Yumi who forehand smashed him to genie Sakiko that the game of "Pervertball" was born. The goal of the game was to keep the ball from escaping and to keep the ball in the air as long as possible.

Somewhere, Ryo Saeba got this really awful chill.

"So, what's a batgirl anyway?" asked Jack, eyeing with amusement the way Daniel was fidgeting. Of course, this being payback for all the 'instinct' jokes never even crossed his mind.

"Succubus," corrected Tezuka.

"Sucks what?" asked Jack.

"'Succubus' - it's a classification. The old version was a sex demon out to tempt mortals, the real item seems a little more complex," said Tezuka. "According to the reports, they're empaths. They can't read minds exactly, but they pick up on emotions. Most of them seem to be attracted to those who are sexually frustrated. Some reports indicate they can get drunk off of other people's lusts and darker emotions as well as various kinds of pleasure. There's a lot of demand for them in sex clubs, apparently they can project as well as read, and in their case -"

"Whoa whoa whoa," said Jack, putting his hands up in a "time out" gesture. "Too much information."

"They can fly, they can project some emotions and read them," said Tezuka. "They tend to be nocturnal and pick up personality traits of people they associate with regularly."

"Uh huh," said Jack. "You do realize those wings are too small to fly with? Mass to surface area ratio?"

"They can fly, Colonel, I've seen some," said Tezuka.

"Yeah, I know. There were some of those and those feather-winged girls in that crowd," said Jack, slumping. "Just a last gasp of sanity."

"I think anyone who's ever worked in Nerima knows the feeling, Colonel," said Tezuka. "Ah, here come your operatives and Matsudera. Uh oh."

"They're gonna pounce the moment they get in range, aren't they?" realized Jack O'Neil. Turning, he saw Tezuka moving trying to hide. "Oh no. I'm not going down alone."

A teltac ship was not the fastest of vehicles in space, but they'd get where they were going eventually.

Fleeing a world shaken by plague, the pilot landed on another less rural world. Tonight he'd get something to drink and hang out at a spacer's bar.

Tomorrow he'd go see a doctor about this cough.
