The great Jedi Master Mace Windu was getting, pardon the pun, kind of winded. He and his army of Clonetroopers had been called out to fend off a Separatist attack on the planet of Dantooine, a mostly untouched world of significance only because of its historical ties to the Jedi. In the ensuing battle, he had found himself locked into battle with the expected huge number of Super Battle Droids - and a Seismic Tank, which had made short work of his troops and knocked his lightsaber out of his hands.
While dealing with the droids wholesale was not much of a problem for a Jedi of Windu's skill, dodging the shockwaves generated by the fifty-five meters tall monstrosity was getting to be a chore - and considering that every attack meant that another few hundred of the clones were getting stomped on, it was high time he got to it and removed the menace. Calling on the Force, he broke away from the closest pack of droids and sprinted towards the tank.
Suddenly, the Force... lurched, for lack of a better word, and Mace faltered just a step, which was just enough to throw him off balance, sending him tumbling along the ground. As he was preparing himself for becoming one with the force, however, a brilliant blue ball of light streaked in from just outside his edge of vision, striking the huge repulsortank so hard it wobbled considerably. Everything went quiet in the blink of an eye, as the droids paused to adapt to the new threat. In the silence, Master Windu caught the tail end of something he couldn't make sense of:
"...kabisha!"
Another large, blue-white energy pulse struck the tank, shattering it like an egg, sending bits and pieces of it raining down among the deactivated battle droids. As the droid army fell apart, and the Clone Troopers tried to reorganize themselves, Mace sought out the origin of the attacks that had ended the battle so spectacularly. What he found surprised him.
A boy, about the age of young Anakin, if Mace was any judge. Similarities ended there, though - while Anakin Skywalker was tall and dirty-blonde, this kid was on the short side, with black hair done in a pigtail. He was wearing black pants and low-heeled slippers, and a red sleeveless shirt in some shiny material, with wooden or perhaps bone ties up the front. He was fit - beyond fit, to tell the absolute truth - and, above all, the Force was strong with him.
