"Oh, well if you're worried about the scenery darling then just look outside," she said while pointing to the nearest window. "The surroundings are already starting to change, and by tomorrow I doubt any of the mortals around here will even remember this ever happened. Except you and a few others who are experienced with magic, this will all go away like a bad dream."
"Well that's... nice," Ranma told her with plenty of uncertainty in his voice. Although he supposed it was a good thing that the people around the city would recall being turned into a wandering zombie army or remember what happened to the land, when he looked over to the shifting form of Akane it made him wonder if anyone he knew personally would forget about all of this. But even if they didn't... would it really make that much of a difference? Ranma asked himself while remembering all the other times that some stupid magic or love potion nearly ruined his or someone else's life and woke up the next day to find the whole incident swept under the rug as if it never happened.
"Well if you want we could let you stay at the temple," Belldandy offered. Besides, she needed to get Peorth used to living in the mortal realm, it was a lot tougher than her short visits showed it to be. "At least until you can find your own place that is."
"Really?" Ranma asked before a bit of skepticism entered his mind. "Wait, where do you guys live anyway?"
"Oh it's just in a small city called Nekomi," Urd told Ranma. "It's noting really fancy, but when your a goddess in the mortal world at this day and age you have to make do with what you got."
"Great!" Ranma said with obvious enthusiasm. Not only would he finally get a break from this madness, but with the distance involved, none of it would be able to follow him home. "If that's alright with you I mean."
"Of course Ranma darling," Peorth agreed before walking back over to Ranma and wrapping her arms around his waist and kissing him on the cheek. "Whatever makes you happy." Plus it would be nice to know some people in the neighborhood, although Peorth made a mental note to keep her eyes on Urd in case the women decided she and Ranma needed any 'help' in the romance department.
Ranma just blushed and looked down at the ground to try and hide his nervous expression because the attention he was getting from Peorth. She wasn't doing an Amazon style glomp or anything really bad, so it wasn't as if he could just jump away from it and not look like a jerk. But even so, the fact that they were so close around a soon to be awoken Akane, as well as others with objects of painful retribution, it made him pretty nervous.
"Great," Skuld muttered to herself, "another mortal." The youngest goddess just hoped they found their own place soon. With another mortal/goddess couple around it might actually give Keiichi the idea to start putting the moves on Belldandy.
"Well I guess that settles it then," Belldandy said with her usual smile before looking over to the large pile of assorted riches that now belonged to the couple thanks to the spell. "Umm, do you want us to help you with any of that?"
So the great sleeping price fiasco quickly came to and end.
Sailor Pluto ended up dragging most of the younger senshi home while lecturing them about the foolish risk they had all taken and the danger they put the carefully planned future of Crystal Tokyo in.
Much like the senshi, Yohko went home grumbling about all this being a waste of time and how she go jipped out of another boyfriend.
Brianna and Genn stuck around a bit longer to see the quickly changing sights and Brianna took a few snapshots of Genn's plushy form before the shape shifter changed back saying they'd laugh about this a few years from now. Genn just grumbled about it and promised to get Brianna if she ever showed the pictures to Séance.
Ryoko and her group also returned home without a fuss after Belldandy helped her find her gems as they weren't part of the treasure to begin with.
The Nerima Wrecking Crew were the last to change back, being the ones exposed to the magic the longest.
After putting Shampoo unconscious with a pressure point to keep her from getting into trouble and getting Mousse to carry her home, Cologne called a cab and headed back to her cafe while trying to think of how to salvage the situation. If she just went back to China empty handed, Shampoo would become a complete disgrace and might end up being expelled from the village. But on the other hand, a goddess wasn't an opponent that Cologne had ever thought she'd face.
For once in his life Ryoga was thankful for his bad direction sense and quickly got lost. He'd heard Yokohoma was nice this time of year... and quickly set off in the direction of Kyoto.
After recovering, Tatewaki Kuno saw Ranma with three new women and promptly attacked. One minute later he was sent flying across the Tokyo skyline thanks to a kick from Peorth for attacking her future husband before she returned to helping her friends put the scarlet dragon's treasure in a bag of holding she had brought with her. Kodachi followed shortly after her brother. Sasuke, deciding to take the better part of valor, quickly hightailed it out of there on foot.
"Well, that's the last of it," Urd said before dropping the last few gems into the small sack Peorth was holding.
"Uh, isn't that heavy?" Ranma asked while looking at the small knapsack. "I could carry it if it is."
"No," Peorth told the boy while giving him a smile. "The bag is actually just the focus of doorway to a subspace pocket that allows for infinite amount of storage as long as you can access it."
"Well now that we're all packed, can we hurry it up and get out of here?" Skuld said before pointing to some of the remaining decor of the morphing castle. "After those two weirdoes I don't want to know what the rest are gonna be like."
"Good idea," Ranma agreed before quickly grabbing Peorth's hand and leading her towards the nearest exit.
