"Go on. I'll deal with these losers. I'll meet ya at that village."
The driver, whose sister was one of the "extras" in the back, nodded to show he understood.
Then Ranma was off, spinning in midair to lightly land behind Kuno. "Hey, Kuno. Ya really wanna do something for the gene pool?"
The driver gunned the engine as the fight began, swerving around the edge of the crowd and speeding towards the docks.
Some of those hidden away nonetheless managed to get a brief glimpse of Ranma as the crowd folded over him. Then the truck turned a corner and was gone.
This was not a martial arts battle where he could just shrug and let himself get beaten into the ground. If he did, there was a fair chance that people would die in a horribly painful manner. They would not reappear, sans injury, in a few minutes.
The Blue Thunder tried to bash him with his bokken. Ranma sent a palmstrike to his face that caused a plume of red to erupt from Kuno's nose. Many of those around him were not martial artists and he couldn't in good faith strike them as hard as he could Tatewaki Kuno. On the other hand, this WAS a mob scene much more bloodthirsty than Akane's morning battles had been. These people weren't trying to subdue, they were out to avenge themselves on someone. He'd just been elected to the post of whipping boy.
That didn't mean he couldn't grab the bokken from Kuno's limp fingers and begin lashing out around him. It just meant he couldn't strike any areas that would permanently hurt these bozos. Joints in the limbs made an excellent target.
Just because these weren't martial artists didn't mean this wasn't a martial arts situation.
Of course, with amateurs mobbing him with lethal intent, at least some lucky blows were going to result.
Ducking below a swung pipe, he elbow punched someone behind him. It became a set of moves, one after the other, so quick that no thought could actually take place - there was only the feel of the battle and acting in the rhythm that it set.

"I've always wanted to take a long sea voyage, visit exotic ports," said Nabiki, shooing a chicken away.
"Why is it always chickens?" complained one of the unknown girls.
"It was available, it was for hire, the captain and crew can be trusted," said Cologne. "He is a scoundrel, but he is one of those who holds his word as his bond and his honor as his measure. When he is bought, he stays bought."
"Still - why chickens?" asked one of the unknown girls.
"We're being chased. It would either be chickens in rickety cages, melons and other fruit, or something similar." Cologne shrugged.
