With effort, as Ranma slowly began to make uncomfortable noises, and sit up, Nabiki tore her eyes away. Stepping into the restaurant, keeping her back turned to her sister's fiance, and her own ... lover ... at least, briefly, she closed the door. "Ooooh, boy," Ukyou said nervously. "Um. Ranchan? I'm gonna get us some clothes."
After hearing her footsteps vanish upstairs, Nabiki turned around cautiously. Ranma had managed to find a skirt, and was holding it before his groin, but was wearing nothing else at the moment. "Um," he said quietly. "Heya, Nabiki."
Ukyou returned a moment later dressed in a kimono, and tossing a larger one to Ranma. He slipped into it swiftly, and then Ukyou tossed a pair of boxer-shorts, as well. Those vanished, though Nabiki never actually saw him don them. "Looking good," she said, sighing in relief to see him. Best not let Ukyou know she's also slept with Ranma; the fiancee would smash her flat in vengeance.
"Thanks," he said, flashing a nervous smile. "Um ... Nabiki, about yesterday, when we...." Ranma trailed off, and looked away. "Sorry, Ucchan," he mumbled.
Nabiki released a panicked whimper. "Please don't kill me, Ukyou!" she said quickly. "I swear -- it was under the influence of the ... whatever it was! I wasn't trying to seduce him away from--"
"No," Ukyou said, shaking her head, and waving a hand at Nabiki. "Hush. Both of you. Look ... something ... must have happened. I ... made some mistakes, too, Rancha.... Ranma." She swallowed, and stared at her feet. Tears shining in her eyes, she looked up, and in a quavering voice, managed, "But ... I ... saved myself for you, first."
Ranma sagged, though Nabiki wasn't certain if it were disappointment at his fiancee, or relief. "That's nothin', Ucchan," he said, drawing her into a hug. "I ... that's nothing. I still ... we.... It don't matter to me."
"I'm glad things are working out," Nabiki said with a wince, unable to deny a spark of jealousy for Ukyou. "But should we get back to the dojo and try and figure out exactly what's going on?"
"Hey ... first things first," Ukyou said, shaking her head. "Um ... look. I know that ... you and Ran...chan slept together. But we did, too. So ... is that ... gonna hang over our heads forever?"
"I won't complain, if you won't hurt me," Nabiki said, shrugging.
"Ain't no one hurting you, Nabiki," Ranma said gruffly. "I don't ... like seeing the girls I.... I don't like seeing you fight. Please don't."
"Okay," Ukyou sighed, smiling, as she grabbed Nabiki's hand, and pulled her into an impromptu three-way hug.
Nabiki felt herself sag with relief, and tears come to her eyes as Ranma's arm encircled her, and he held her to his chest. "We'll ... get though this somehow," he said, his voice rumbling deep in his chest, soothing her.
"Together," Ukyou said.
"Good," Nabiki said shakily, pushing herself away.
