The raw intensity of emotion ... and it had felt like emotion, not simply primal lust.... He felt almost numbed to be walking around in a world where he could be one of the last men left alive. Knowing that he had Ukyou and Shampoo with him helped his presence of mind, but he was still glad for the emotional numbness that had settled on him after all the other shocks.
He was going to be a father, the thought percolated, as he came to a skidding halt. He'd been heading towards his mother's house -- he wasn't really certain why. But somehow, he'd gone straight to a whole slew of the women he'd been looking for. Natsume, Kurumi, Azusa Shiratori, and Rouge were in the middle of a furious two-way screeching battle in the street over the form of a whimpering and worn looking Kumon Ryuu.
Ranma wasn't certain why, but he found the other boy's predicament oddly comforting. He glanced to the sidelines, where some women had gathered to watch, and then yelled, "What the hell is going on here?"
In a flash, Ryuu was at Ranma's side, clinging to one leg and sobbing into the side of his kimono. He realized distractedly that he'd forgotten to dress while he'd had the chance to at the Tendo home. The four in the street stopped their bickering and hair-pulling, and affixed Ranma with a glare, which immediately softened.
Kurumi and Azusa quickly found something to fight over (Azusa wanted Kurumi's ribbon), while Rouge and Natsume looked between Ranma and Ryuu uncertainly. "I think I can explain," Natsume said after a moment, eyeing Rouge mistrustfully. Rouge sniffed imperiously and looked away. "We were hunting this idiot down because of what he did to us before we ran across you."
"Oh yeah," Ranma mused, looking around. "This is the way I came back from school yesterday."
"What exactly did he do to you?" Ukyou asked wearily.
"He ... he ... well...." Natsume blushed, and stared at her feet, while Ryuu whimpered. "He ran screaming down the street with no clothes on, and ... for some reason, I thought he should be covered ... but I can't remember where my clothes went...." She trailed off and blushed more deeply. Then her blush turned into a look of anger. "Then he stole my heart and ran away! How can my first love do this to me!?"
"He's not your first love," Rouge snapped suddenly. "He's mine!"
Sighing, Shampoo conked Azusa over the head with a bonbori and tossed her over one shoulder. "Airen, you sleep with these girls, too?" she asked.
Ranma nodded.
"You come with us, we explain. Happy ending for all, yes?"
"Yeah," Ranma sighed. "You're gonna get to keep both of them, Ryuu." Ranma didn't know why he smiled at Ryuu's agonized wail, but felt it better not to question it just yet. Soon he'd have everyone back at the dojo and be able to have another mental breakdown.
"You doing okay, Sugar? You look a little spacey," Ukyou commented, peering into his eyes. Shampoo was next to him in an instant, each of the girls taking an arm after Shampoo tossed Azusa to Ryuu.
The Kumon boy carried Azusa like a shield, keeping her between himself and the other girls, gulping nervously.
"I think I wanna go back inside," Ranma mumbled. "There's...." He trailed off.
More than just a handful of other women were gathered around now. There were probably about seventy to a hundred of them now, and Ranma didn't see any other boys, except for Ryuu.
"I think we should go," Ukyou decided, she and Shampoo linking their arms with Ranma's, and leaping away before he could try and move under his own power.
Ryuu followed, and of course, the other girls followed him, quickly speeding to the Tendo dojo.
