Shadows of Passion: Nodoka's Indiscretion (LIME) [Episode 145130]

by Sgt. Chibi De`Ohki

Saotome Nodoka held an icepack to her head, and surveyed her home. Most of the loud ... lovemaking, she guessed ... it was certainly better than what her husband had done for her.... Was outside.

Unfortunately for her, as soon as he had finished, the handsome young boy had panicked, babbled something about being too young to die, and then vanished. Pity, she wished she had a name to call him other than 'Ranma'.

Eventually, in her wanderings, she'd found someone else ... or he had come looking for her.

It was an exciting night until he collapsed suddenly, but at the same time, her own fever had subsided to the point where she could fight off the effects and tend to him. She had been exhausted from her ministrations when Kodachi had arrived, offering her some outrageous sum of money and explaining that she wanted Nodoka's signature on a paper she was carrying around.

Nodoka had signed it without really paying attention, once Kodachi had explained that it was for Ranma. Even though the girl had destroyed her house once, Nodoka thought she was really sweet, and a good friend of Ranma. She hoped so, at least, though she wished her son would show a bit more manliness and actually demonstrate his prowess on a woman.

Or three.

Sighing, she opened the window, allowing sunlight and bright air in. "Are you feeling better?" she asked her new lover quietly, wondering how she would explain her indiscretion to her husband.

"N.... Nodoka?" he sputtered, as he woke up, and blinked away the cobwebs of confusion.

"You'll be alright, Soun," she assured him, smiling.

He blanched. "Oh, my," he murmured.

[The Previous Day]

After three hours at the love hotel, the hotel manager began to pound on the door; they'd only paid for an hour. Genma and Soun also happened to be carrying the most advanced cases of the lemon flu anywhere, outside of possibly Akane and a handful of other people she'd infected. They didn't notice it, but the end result was when the waves of passion really began to sweep across the neighborhood, Genma and Soun were just catching their breaths after a long and arduous session.

The pounding at the door meant it was time to leave, and an angry manager was quickly distracted from an unpaid bill by a room full of amorous ladies of the night.

After they'd made it to the streets, they'd quickly gone to the rooftops, a route usually left to their children. The two stared for a moment, silently burning their way through Soun's last pack of cigarettes as they thought about what they'd done.

"We need to find the Master," Genma had finally decided. "I'm certain he's behind this."

Soun had agreed that Happosai was responsible, but wasn't confident he wanted to confront the withered old master. His exertions had left him winded, and Genma didn't look to be in top condition, either.

Eventually, they'd located a seedy bar where Happosai had forcefully ejected all but one of the nearby males. The bar was filled with women, and aside from the withered old master.

Both men had begun to lose their resolve from the moment they entered, the flue quickly working through their resolve. It was a lot like watching a drowning man surrounded by sharks, Soun thought with apprehension, unable to forestall the march to his own doom, as he watched the lone male 'performer' on the stage slowly sink into a crowd of writhing naked young women.

Happosai cackled gleefully, and called, "Come on in, boys! The women are fine!"

Any resolve remaining dissolved the second every unoccupied woman in the bar locked eyes with two fit, if somewhat weary martial artists. Soun threw himself forward gleefully, but it was not to be....

Perhaps it was greed. Perhaps it was just coincidence. Perhaps, ironically, Genma was really doing something noble. Either way, he grabbed his friend Soun, and the Tendo patriarch found himself flung through the night sky, while Genma vanished below him with a grin and a lusty howl of satisfaction.

When he'd landed, he'd recovered his senses -- slightly. Now working with the flu, his first thought had been to find Genma's wife, and get some revenge for the callous cock blocking.

"Nodoka," he said solemnly, turning his gaze upon her. "I must apologize. I had come here...." He hesitated. Aw, hell, he thought. He was going to go down, why not make it in a blaze of glory? If Genma didn't tear him into itty bitty pieces, Ranma would. Unless Genma were dead, which Soun couldn't discount, given his final view of the man.

Soun knew better than to think that Ranma would die, and even if he did, the Tendo patriarch was relatively confident that Ranma would find a way around it. Especially if any form of vengeance were involved.

"I came here to tell you that I believe your husband has perished," he said sadly.

Nodoka's eyes widened, not entirely in horror, though he could see disappointment on her face. "Oh," she said softly. "How ... did it happen?"

"He perished fighting a great evil, and ... I think he sacrificed his life to save me," Soun explained. Certainly Genma hadn't just been making sure he got the lion's share of hot young booty to himself. Probably, at least.

"Then that's symmetry," she decided. "It's fate! Well, let's go and get married, shall we?"

Soun felt bewildered. That wasn't the response he was expecting. "I suppose that would be proper," he murmured. Take that, Saotome! Deny me sweet young flesh and I steal your wife! Might as well enjoy what time he had left before Ranma destroyed him.
