"Hello, Eaugun," Wes said. "I take it Rui's worried about me."
Eaugun nodded. "A bit. I however know better."
"Heh. I don't know why you and Rui trust me. I'm a Pokemon thief. Out of over fifty Pokemon, only three of them weren't grabbed by the Snag Machine. Umbreon and Espeon were mine to begin with and that Plusle was given to us by Dunking," Wes said.
"You are and were a thief. However, your Espeon and Umbreon show that you do care. But, we're getting off topic. It's been a month since Cipher has been demolished and you've purified all those Pokemon," Eaugun said.
"So?"
"You're bored. There is nothing in Orre that can challenge you. How about seeing how the other half lives?"
Wes turned his head and stared at Eaugun. "What are you talking about?"
"Travel to one of the regions where Pokemon can be found in the wild. You could take the Gym challenges that are in each region. Try to be just an ordinary Pokemon Trainer."
"Pointless. You get a trophy for winning the league contests, nothing more. Here, you get technical machines and with Mount Battle, berries and special items."
"True," Eaugun said. "But, catching Pokemon in the wild is something that you haven't done."
Wes turned his head and stared into the river.
Eaugun bit his lower lip and decided something. "Cipher and Team Snagem aren't the only criminal organizations out there. Team Rocket in Kanto, Johto, and the Orange Islands are causing trouble."
Wes smirked. "Team Wannabe you mean. I've heard they are trying to clone a Mew and are having to modify it. I wonder if they succeeded yet. They are so far behind Cipher."
"There's also Team Magma and Team Aqua in the Hoen regions you could annoy. They aren't Pokemon thieves, but they are causing a lot of ruckus."
Wes grinned evilly. "I was hunting for a challenge and you gave me three. I just have to break up the three organizations."
Wes stood up and headed over to his bike. He pulled out a large rectangular object from the sidecar.
"Can the Pokecenters in the other regions read the computer cores? I don't want to really leave most of my Pokemon behind."
Eagun said, "You'll have to get a Pokedex-Computer Core adapter. They sell them in Phenac City. You'll be able to use the Pokedex readers in Pokecenters to access your Pokemon."
A girl's voice said, "You're not leaving without me, Wes."
Wes sighed. "I didn't think I would be able to Rui. Let's go."

On a large island with a several high tech buildings and a futuristic pyramid, a newly formed Cipher had set up. The pyramid was the new lab for Cipher's Shadow Pokemon plan. Inside, Cipher Admin Ein was working lab on the clone of a white and purple Pokemon. The Pokemon's hue changed to dark gray and dark purple.
"A success. Project XD-01 is finished," Ein said. "The Gale of Darkness will soon be unleashed upon the world."
A voice called from the darkness. "Very good. How goes the other Pokemon transformation?"
"We only had the feathers from three, so we had to do cloning again. They should be ready at the end of the month. As to the rest, they should be ready by the end of the week."
"Very good. Now, for our first test of XD-01. We aren't going to do it here in Orre. I don't want Wes and Rui to interfere with our plans. We're going to go into one of the other regions and use our new weapon."
Ein smiled. "Team Rocket, we are going to show you just how to take control of the world."
"Or Team Aqua and Magma."
Neither knew that they would soon cross paths with Wes and Rui, for they chose the same region that Wes was heading for and that region was... (It was also the time that Ash and co were in the area)
