Lina's instincts told her that something was very wrong here. Xellos had been lacking his obnoxious sense of devil may care indestructibility and self-assurance. He seemed like something was very wrong. He was worried and he was in a rush. The only other time she could recall him seeming so clearly uncomfortable was when they had been forced to face Gaav. This did not bode well.
"So what do we do now?" Lina muttered to herself.
Lina sighed deeply as she shook her head. Stupid question. She was all alone here. The only thing she could really do was find her way to the nearest town.
Lina shivered slightly as she felt the first few flakes of a building snow fall.
"Great, its snowing," she growled to no one in particular.
Pulling her cloak around her body for warmth se began to walk more quickly. A cursory look to the west told her that it would soon be dark.
Lina growled in frustration as she began to step up the pace. Here she was on some strange world without her magic to protect her. Â She was cold, she was lost, it was snowing, and soon it would be night. She needed to find a town, or at least shelter before she succumbed to the elements.
Marching along with as much confidence and purpose as she could muster at this point in her life, the redheaded Dragon Spooker mumbled, "I just hope they have good food and a nice warm bed to sleep in when I get there."
Wincing as the wind really started picking up, Lina felt more lonely than she had been in her entire life. She would've been glad if the Trickster Priest had stayed around for a bit. Nine hells, she would've been glad to have Nag... Strike that. She wasn't THAT desperate for companionship right now.
